  1. The hole is an abortion of design and has nothing to do with Open Championship heritage. Fine for Disney Land ! Don't think it will be there when the Open is next back at Hoylake ?

  2. I must be the only one who does not like this hole. It’s out of character for the rest of this course. I now I know why, deliberately made “to create drama”.

  3. Great hole but needs to be 20 yds longer to be a game changer at end of round.

  4. Interesting about moving the OB closer on 18. Have you considered truly restoring Dowie and Royal (or similar to old Royal)? They would be two of the best holes in championship golf and totally unique to Hoylake. My 2 cents. Looking forward to the Open.
