  1. They showed a stat at Fenway on Sunday that Miggy is one of 3 people in history to have 3000 hits, 500 homers, and a .300 avg. Dude is an absolute machine what a great career

  2. WGN used to broadcast the games nationally so they have deep rooted fans everywhere

  3. Yankees gotta go on a rebuild. not because the organisation needs a full reset, but rather the fans need to see some bad baseball. they have been complaining all season yet are still above .500. gotta let them have a couple .300 seasons to give them a reality check. humble them a bit

  4. The funny thing about The Compound is, without trying, it has provided an extremely unique podcast where a fan gets to talk out stuff with actual active players each and every week. Tom and the Boys differing opinions from their completely different viewpoints is utterly fascinating every time it occurs.

  5. Thanks to Ian for the kind words about Jose and the Toronto fans. Ian would be perennial GG and 30 yayas playing at Rogers Centre without that Chicago wind. Plenty of space left on the Level of Excellence.

  6. For whatever reason, I always look forward to an ad read from Happer. I'd pay to see him host a game show with a tiny mic.

  7. Ian when you or the cubs get a hit the crowd goes crazy maybe you don’t notice but like when I bat in little league travel baseball I don’t notice the crowd it is me and the pitcher
