You can tell Jimmy and Jake are just done with Boone and Co. and the lies the organization tells themselves.
I think a lot here is made of the "when you manage the team response" imo, he did at least explain his point. Now you can disagree with it but i dont see the response as crazy as others. He could keep explaining his point and jimmy could rebut and youd have a long long conversation.
I think if your average Jomboy fan asked Jimmy why did lay off 10pc of his staff. Hed explain his reasons. Then if you said "yeah but why didnt you just do X instead, thats how i would of done it." Jimmy would also in the end either say or think, "well when you run a full high profile company, you can run it like you like"
So imo its not as bad as people make out

After this season and in reference to Boone's 10% comment, 90 % of Yankees fans would rather have Jimmy managing that team.

The way he continues to say a player is 'close', I can feel his pain…I’ve felt the same for him as our mgr. Sucks! Sometimes a marriage just doesn’t work out no matter how bad you wished it would…your spouse rolls their eyes every time you talk. I like Boone but fans have had enough of the excuses & complacency.
I feel like Boone is too scared to actually talk negatively about a players performance. I understand not bashing your players but just acknowledge poor performance for once.

Jimmy's right with the "Trying to sell us we're in a confident position" is an embarrassing show. But it's what Boone signed up for, so It's hard to be angry at him for it.
If the only thing that happens this year is Boone gets fired and Cashman doesn't change anything then that would be a huge failure for us fans.

I agree with everyone here. But what else is Boone supposed to say? The players know what he says about them. It wouldn’t be a good look if he came on here and dumped on his own team, saying it’s out of their hands now, etc. especially the last few years fans being frustrated at managers not supported their players
No matter how you look at it, there is no way Moniac is seen as a bigger threat than the home run leader and slugging % leader in the MLB. Boone, just admit you are wrong. That's the first step in learning from your mistakes.
Boone keeps saying it's right in front of them and they're "Going to get where "THEY" want to be…so they "WANT" to be a wild card team?? He is laying it out for you. Championship or bust…not with that attitude.

Honestly, at this point, our best bet is to stop worrying about a world series this year and start developing our young talent. This is the perfect year to do it. The AL East is ridiculously competitive this year and we have a TON of young talent on the current roster and below. As long as we as the fans can suck it up, take the L and understand that it's better to create a dynasty than buy one, we can turn this current squad into another late 90s phenom of a team.

The Blue Jays walked Ohtani repeatedly in three games. When they walked Ohtani, the hitters behind him got too strong and couldn't hit, and the Angels lost two games because of it. Besides, he's in and out of form, and it was absolutely wrong not to walk Ohtani when he had two hits.
