  1. i really didn't get this until a teaching pro pointed it out to me two years ago…and people also need to remember that this applies to putting…your feet don't need to be aimed at the hole…but parallel to it.

  2. Great piece of advice for your viewers Alex! I, like you, pick out a piece of something in front of my ball that is in line with the green. Then I set up to this and swing my club to and/or over that spot. I have no problem in using your presented technique.

  3. Is this the wrong title for the video? Had nothing to do with hitting drivers straight just how to aim better.

  4. Always set my tee shot approx 18inch behind a divot on the tee box then set square to that. Seems to work well.

  5. I have always lined up my target line with something about 2 foot in front of the ball. Makes life a lot easier. BTW, ball tracer would have made this easier to observe. Well done Alex..

  6. Excellent. Jack Nicklaus used aim point in front of the ball. Nice shoulder explanation tying it all together. All the best.

  7. appreciate the content! skulled a wedge the other day. I suspect the fluffy lie was the issue. Couldn't bounce it or the club would have gone under the ball. thoughts on this situations?

  8. Hi Alex – I am struggling massively with consistency. I was scoring low 90s with 270 yard drives. Now I cannot seem to make great ball contact and when I do it has strong draw to hook. Any tips for creating a “safe swing” when all falls apart and/or creating a consistent swing? Please help as these spells make me want to quit golf. Such a love/hate relationship with the sport.

  9. I line up standing behind ball using my club to point in direction I want ball to go then pick a spot on ground infront of ball put clubhead square to that line then align myself parallel…(hope I've explained it properly)

  10. Putting alignment question. I've seen pros (Xander Schauffle for one) put their left hand on their thigh when preparing to putt. Is that an alignment trick? I've started doing it myself and has helped my putting. I think it gets my shoulders in better position. Can you explain?

  11. Alex, how do we about stepping the trail foot back a 1/2 step to increase turn on driver or otherwise? If yes, flared lead foot or straight?

  12. I read some time ago that flaring the front foot and placing an alignment stick to the toes is wrong. He said place the stick at the heals for correct alignment. What do you think of this?

  13. My biggest miss is always to the right. Itook a lesson from a pro a few years ago and he had me doing exactly what you describe. The problem is that it felt so uncomfortable that I just gradually went back to my old habits. I tend to draw the ball so I depend on it but when it doesnt draw it goes right. Is it normal to feel so discombobulated making this change and if I keep trying how many rounds do you estimate it would take for this to become second nature?
