Some top Mets prospects were at it again on Friday night as Luisangel Acuna and Drew Gilbert led the way in Binghamton. Acuna had three hits and stole his 50th base of the season. Gilbert also had three hits including a long HR and four RBI . Meanwhile in Brooklyn, Ryan Clifford broke out of an 0-16 slump with RBI single and double to key a Cyclones comeback win.

I really like the fact these kids are coming up together at the same time and developing their chemistry early. It is exciting to think Mauricio, Gilbert, Clifford, Acuna, and Williams can be up in the majors together within 2 years. Now the Mets need their pitching prospects to develop and the future looks bright.
Our new Rumble Ponies are doing extremely well! Huge value for a couple of future HOF pitchers that were not part of our long term plans anyway.

We got a lot of exciting prospects on a loaded farm Acuna, Clifford & Filbert can be important players for Mets soon. Plus we have our other top prospects Parada, Mauricio, Jett the Met, & Alex Ramirez. Baty should be things revamped & be back up soon. The future is bright. We still have a solid core on the major league club. If we add a couple of starters, a big OF bat & strengthen the bullpen, the Mets will be back. These kids could add a lot of athleticism, speed, some pop & defense to the lineup. The deadline moves were bold & brilliant. The criticism was short sighted. LGM
