In the lower leagues of rugby there's respect everywhere to everyone. It's the complete opposite in football. Such is the situation, that in some local districts there's a shortage of people wanting to referee games. Its time for FIFA to act, or people will move away from the game. Start with a 3m area rule where only the captain can be seen talking with respect to the referee.
There was this one ref that nobody in the community liked cause he wouldnt call out penalties for both teams, so our fullback kicked a bomb straight towards him and our forwards ran him over 😂

It's ridiculous the chasm in respect values between rugby and football. And it's not like it's a new thing in football either

Rugby rules allow ref to penalize a team for disrespect. Football should do the same.

What stops the refs in football yellow carding the players. Act up, yellow card, miss the next game. It’s the only way to change their attitudes
