  1. What iron shaft was Derek ultimately fitted into? And what were the wedges shafts specifically?

  2. So interesting to watch these videos that talk about the weight of the shaft rather than flex. I’m finding that my modus 105 these days might be a tad light as there isn’t that weight to help me get into the slot and deliver the club. I’m thinning quite a few. Might be a combination of that shaft with a PXG P head while tried the Cobra Tour King and Modus 120, there was that feeling of release into the ball. You think it’s the weight or the shaft profile ? Also, anything else like the Modus 120 that I should try ? Thanks in advance for the help

  3. Finally got time to watch this – brilliant fitting! Seemed like a good choice to just leave the top end with hybrids for now, and then see if the need for a 3W gap filler would emerge later. Always fascinating to see the eye of Simon catching the nuances that tiny weight shifts impart on the swing and strike and working to get it just right 👌. Thanks to Derek for putting himself out there for us to see the process.

And 👍👍👍 on the excellent production quality and camera cuts James – high level and getting better week by week! 😃

  4. Great vid, thanks. Why do you use a 6i instead of a 7i like most fitters? Also how do you know which iron head category to test out? Ie a players head for Derek?

  5. I also tried 3w hl, but it did not work for me. I chose 20* callaway heavenwood instead. I have never seen anybody fitted to this club on any of youtube chanels. Did you consider this option for Derek?
