Wasn’t a member of either but started on concord & Tinsley, I know u know them well gaz😂😂. Went to school next to concord so used to look for golf balls in my lunch hour😂

I certainly couldn’t afford a couple of grands worth of clubs when I lived on a council estate?!?! Don’t really represent where I came from.
Have em back for 9 hole comp and swearing encouraged on all bad and good shots 😆
Bradley park is council owned its only around the corner from Fixby,it’s in great nick as well

I used to live in the Uk and Southampton was rated as one of the best council run courses in the country. It's a great course.

I used to play a bit at Middleton Park in Leeds back in the 90's, right on the edge of Beeston, it was dodgy as owt.. 🤣
Played Lupset (City of Wakefield) as well a bit, but if you rocked up after 2pm the place was full of coal miners that had just finished the morning shift..
But listen, anybody that takes golf to the people get's my vote, and these lads are doing just that. 👏

You can take the person out of the council estate but not the council estate out of the person , wherever you go whatever you do should be polite , courteous and have etiquette , if you display and appreciate these then you’ll be fine …golf can still be snobby to a point but if you follow the rules of golf and are considerate of fellow golf players there will not be a problem
