To be fair nobody survives diving for a takedown at the same time Yoel launches into the air with a knee. Idk if Roy Nelson or Mark Hunt in there primes of being able to take damage wouldnt of been stopped there. And this is the perfect guy for a Wideman to have a chance because he doesnt have power
I get the sense from the way Ian Garry is and how he comes across that when he does eventually lose it'll just motivate him more and he will become more formidable. I just hope he gets a main event in Dublin for a fight night first against Stephen Thompson, Kevin Holland or Michel Pereira (weight permitting).
With the headliner I reckon Sterling wins a decision which allows him to move up and jump straight into a title fight against Volk because Holloway keeps beating all the other contenders. O'Malley will lose no real stock and get the big rematch with Vera that everyone wants to see and Merab will fight Sandhagen for the vacant bantamweight belt.
Regrade this card now with bautista blacksheer!! Good stuff
I'm enjoying this season of TUF. The UFC's talent acquisition strategy is being exposed, now all the young guys that would have made it to dwcs have already lost to these UFC washouts, for lack of a better word. I'm with Ben that some of the "vets" on the show are better than current roster fighters.
I was st the Forum in LA when AJ McKee lost his 0. I heard him in the back locker room screaming at the top of his lungs. He took it pretty hard; but, recovered pretty well.

I think the hate for Weidman and the "karma thing" comes from a misremembering of his octagon interview. I remember thinking he was pretty smug about the leg break and was celebrating it a bit, but I just rewatched the interview when I got to you guys mentioning it – he was actually kinda somber and respectful and I just didn't recall and it was probably emotions at the time causing people to misjudge what was being said.
