This season, viewership for the second round of the FA Cup on ESPN was up 858% percent over last year, and that’s largely thanks to Wrexham, whose popularity has exploded since the docuseries “Welcome to Wrexham” debuted in August 2022.

Clarification: PSG and Real Madrid didn't participate in the FA Cup, but did play league matches on the same weekend as Wrexham's tournament appearance — and more viewers tuned in to see Wrexham!
