I wish I did like something more than the prov1 line but I’m not going down the ball rabbit hole again
It’s pronounced “ soor-lin” and at one point premium balls were either surlyn or balata!
I’m an OnCore ELIXR player, it’s a 3 piece urethane ball that’s US$30 a dozen and they have bundles where you buy 2 and get 1 free.
Sirloin is a cut of beef
Performance is obviously important, but I cant stand looking at a bright white ball! ProV1 and X are the right shade of white for me. Pedantic I know, but looks and feel are both important to me.
Well done James 👏 😊
Really would like to see you test the two versions of the Quantix golf balls
Srixon AD333 are among the best all round ball for those that don't want to lose a £4 Pro V1, the Costco Kirkland V2 (uk ball) is too spinny and in the wind it just exits the course 😀
Getting a Pro V1 ad before the video…well done
If you’re a decent ball striker and you want more control and better spin off the green than use a urethane ball only. Golf balls don’t vary as much off the tee as they do on approach and chip shots. Lower scores ( if that’s what you’re playing for) are made in the short game. You need a ball you can trust in this area. Non urethane balls fall short in this area. If you are a recreational golfer that’s just about hanging with your buddies that’s in the 20+ handicap that’s not concerned with your finishing score then buy the cheapest ball you can find and have fun without the frustration of losing a $5.00 golf ball.
Inisis100 every Time! Doesnt hurt to lose them
I find the Vice Pro compares quite nicely to the Pro V1. I also like the Costco Kirkland ball. But have found it to be decidedly shorter than a Pro V1.
I have tried the Mynt golf balls before, but I didn't care for them. Still a huge fan of the Srixon Z-Star.
