NEW Costco Kirkland Signature V3 Golf Balls — BETTER OR WORSE?

I try the new Costco Kirkland Signature v3 Golf Balls…have they improved, or have they actually gotten worse?

  1. I Transitioned to these about Month ago. And V3 is providing a little more distance and V3 Appear to be more Durable.

  2. Nice! I'm finding V3 to be a lot more durable. Gone thru 2 dozen so far and have only had 1 ball scuff up way before it should have. V2 for me, I bought 2 boxes (4 dozen) and I kid you not, every single ball was scuffed after 1.5 holes. Maybe I got two bad boxes (bought at separate times) but I gave up on V2 after that.

V3 is still in the bag, glad I gave them a chance.

  3. Kirklands go an easy 10-15 yards less off the tee. I will only play these in the fall when leaves are all over, otherwise it’s not worth it for me. I lose too many yards

  4. i get so nervous anytime someone is cutting into a golf ball 😅

I use a few of these hitting into a net and the durability is 10x better than before. Definitely still gets scuffed up over time but isnt dramatically chewed up so quickly as before. I find them a bit more clicky putting though which im not a huge fan of

  5. played with the v3's yesterday. also bought the callaway edge set from costco. just starting out. love the videos

  6. As usual, great video. And I love Kirkland balls much as I love your videos. And I cannot wait till NOV 1. I will be camping out. Yes at Costco. Lol

  7. Have you been able to check the compression of the V3 ball ? The V2 should be 85 Prov 1 is 86 also, TP5, Snell, SEED all are mid 80s too.
V3 may be PXG ball fusion with the V2 Kirkland. The PXG is a 99 compression and reported to be made in the same ball factory as the Kirkland V2. Prov 1X and TP5 X are 99 compression.
Please do a Rck Shields bunker bashing test to see how they wear.

  8. Good video! I saw these and was tempted to try them. The V2's were way too spinny for me, and as a result I lost distance off driver (on course and Trackman). I may try some anyway at close to 1$ a piece. I swing driver around 105, but can do 110 when I try. The problem is that a lot of the courses I play are pretty narrow, and it's way too easy easy to lose balls on even slight mishits. So I guess I'm always looking for a cheaper option (probably a unicorn really) that will go as far as the firmer 'tour' balls to use at those places.

  9. I like the sof feel ov v2. I haven't played the v3 yet. Not crazy about the inconsistent core. I guess you cant beat the price.

  10. great review dude, however when I went to costco today they still only had the V2's. are the V3's only regional for now?

  11. I tried the Kirkland v2. Found it to balloon on me off the driver. Lost about 15 yards compared to about anything else. My driver swing speed is 105. It may just be the lower compression causing it to over compress and spin out

  12. “….maybe it was me….”……10 seconds later over the top topper into the left rough ….😂…..we’ve all been there 😂

  13. More spin lowers trajectory on irons. See TXG (Club Champions) video on Mikey’s T150 irons specifically around the 1100 mark.

  14. i'm a 1 handicap and rock the kirklands. the hackers spraying provs give me a shocked look when the see me rocking the kirklands.

  15. Put then on the Sim! I'd like to see what Bushnell has to say. Great video as alway, thanks for the content!
