DON’T TURN In The Downswing….. DO THIS Instead!

Hey everyone, I’ve got a fantastic video to share with those who struggle with rotation in their golf swing, particularly those who tend to hit down and across the ball. This video addresses a crucial point – simply relying on turning during the swing can be detrimental. Instead, we go into the importance of incorporating tilt for a more effective and refined swing.

I’m confident this video will prove invaluable to many of you. I’d love to hear your thoughts, so please drop your feedback in the comment box below after watching it. Enjoy!

  1. I was just able to get my driver and long irons figured out off the tee box. My left pocket as a right hander would go back but my hips would go forward towards the target as well, not allowing the club face to fully square. Now I instead bring my left pocket with a feel of “straight back” and not forward as well and the club face fully squares. I was able to hit 14/18 fairways yesterday with this discovery. Thanks Chris!

  2. Been watch your videos for a long while now and I must say I’ve always wanted a golf bag with my name on it. Too bad Taylormade doesn’t offer custom name printing

  3. You are truly the best trainer out there. I absolutely love all your training videos. Very well done.

  4. Yep…. Right side bend through impact will take you from occasionally breaking 80, to scratch. Trust me. Good wrist conditions are also very key to becoming scratch.

  5. Very timely video. You must have my seen my driver on my last couple rounds. Your videos are always worth a watch.Thanks.

  6. my struggle is that I have a good in-to-out swing (per trackman) but my club face is still open relative to the club path and no matter what I do, I can't get the feel of how to close the club face (or I guess properly release the driver) so I have massive push slices. I seemingly do everything you say here but that ability to close the club face just isn't there

  7. Synchronicity? A few of my YouTube golf instruction channels have focused on this same topic. Chris, does this same movement apply to all other clubs?

  8. Hey! This is such a great video. I have had this question for a while though: is de-lofting an iron or increasing it's clubhead speed more important?

  9. Hi Chris! Thanks for the video! Absolutely love it, I was wondering is this a movement you should also apply to your irons? Or is it only applicable to your driver?

  10. This is a great eye opening video for me. After so many years of my wrong movement, I hope I can fix my bad swing and play better. Thank you, Chris!

  11. I keep watching this video over & over again. Great tip! But now I notice something… what’s with the dead trees in the background? LOL!

  12. Can you do another video using the g force training iron. I'm a relatively good golfer but even I'm completely lost with all the content out there. Really struggling with the transition at the minute and feel like I'm getting lost using the g force iron with trying to pull it down 1st then turn. I really get a lot from your videos and think you make a lot of sense but there are so many other trainers with contradiction info on transition that I've completely lost confidence in what I'm doing
