The All New Swatch Nines 2023 is Here!

After a year off in 2022, the Nines is back as one of the sickest mountain bike events of the year with a new name, new location and new insane course! The all new Swatch Nines is taking over Green Hill Bike Park with a unique slopestyle and freeride line with some never before seen features, with design help from Sam Pilgrim, Thomas Lemoine, Eric Fedko and Vero Sandler and as always, the incredible build is not without its challenges! Enjoy the first build episode and keep an eye out for more later in the week!

  1. You can‘t compare this with the old spot in Birkenfeld. Now this is only another slopestyle event not more. Poor decision !!

  2. OMG, I hope they keep the treetop skatepark that things a work of art! Pretty sick how much the team has got done in a wet week 🤘

  3. i love how they integrated the trees into the ramps instead of cutting them or building around them. looks so good.

  4. Last year‘s Freeride looked much better 😢. The slope line looks sick though

  5. So pointless. Old Audi Nines in quarry was awesome because it was different. Multiple lines, great view for spectators, great spots for content creators. Here is an overcomplicated track with only 2 lines, 1 of which is hidden in the trees and despite that it's no different from any basic slope trail.
And considering the fact that it's not a contest – it will be so boring to watch it. And who the F cares about skateboarding. Geez – you've had unique event and flatted it to basic one. So sad.

  6. Yes to creativity! Most SS courses are just drop, boner, whale, mega booter and it was stale a long time ago. Crankworx, THIS is how its done….

  7. I love these free ride jams? Not a competition, but everyone is pushing everyone to step it up and have massive fun….love seeing the comradrery between the group between guys and gals….hell yes gang

  8. He you guys, you're doing an amazing job to build this al in only a couple of weeks. It's a pleasure to accommadate you and we would love to see you again in the future. You guys bring a gut vipe dispite the weather 😉

  9. I find it extremely sad that a green landscape is transformed into a lunar landscape for a week-long event. in the quarry of the last events it was something completely different. I find that neither sustainable nor ecologically justifiable. This puts our sport in a completely wrong light. I am also very surprised that this is compatible with German building law.

  10. Looks sick! Glad to see nines back, and loving the Sam Reynolds build videos of mega events

  11. I can’t even imagine the crazy scrubs that will go down over that boob feature

  12. Sam, you are truly THE greatest innovation in mtb, the locations, the brainstorming with the builders and the final results of such epic lines are mind blowing….a massive cheers to you 🤟🎶
