Titleist T200 Irons: Discover What’s New For 2023

Titleist T200 irons are game-improvement clubs designed to provide golfers with more distance and forgiveness, along with enhanced sound and feel. Titleist updated the vibration-dampening system in the T200 irons, and updated the cosmetics, so the Titleist T200 irons also blend easily with other Titleist T Series irons to allow golfers a chance to easily create combo sets.

  1. The looks of the T200 is vastly improved over previous model. I have the T100S but ordered the 2023 T200 Utility Iron (3i). Want to see if I can use it instead of the hybrids.

  2. I hit both T150 and 200. Did not like how the 150 iron felt as the heel weight felt more reactive causing a push. Hit the T200 and bam. Absolutely was sticking it on the pin on trackman. I did not hesitate and purchased the T200 4-P. I am a Mizuno iron player and Titleist has finally won me over with these Irons. Great review. Thanks.

  3. Great info. I had a Titleist fitting last week and was fitted into T150s with X100s. But I could easily see the benefit of T200s and even T350s in the longer irons. I’m leaning toward a combo set that works in a T200 5 iron at standard 24 degrees and T200 6 iron one degree weak to 28 degrees, and then 7 iron on down in the T150. For the 4 iron, I might go with the T350 at standard 20 degrees.

A personal pet peeve in this era of stronger lofts is when iron manufacturers allow those lofts at the long end to really bunch up. (I love Srixon irons, but they’re the worst offender! Check out the specs of the long irons in the ZX4 and ZX5 Mk II.) Most amateur hackers like me can’t get proper gapping when that happens. I think a combo set that maintains 4 degree loft differences and works in some more forgiving, lower-spin, higher-launching long irons might be the way to prevent those gaps from bunching up. I’ll see how it goes and follow up.
