That Colts issues was a huge overreaction by Pat. He tagged the Colts and the guy tagged you because you played for the Colts and thought you might help get him contacts. Pat kept repeating him self about how he was hurt over and over again…Yikes.

Pat is such a narcissist lmao. Love the show, and I love plenty of narcissists. We all do. Certain Actors, musicians, athletes, politicians, etc. Someone you really like and follow is a narcissist. So it ain’t like I’m hating on the guy, I like him. But being this sensitive about something so trivial and this insane about public opinion of random nobodies after being in the public spotlight this long, if he wasn’t a narcissist then this wouldn’t have turned into the cluster that this interview was.
It’s mind blowing to me how many people are criticizing Pat for how he handled this entire situation. Can someone explain to me how they perceive him to be in the wrong?
I think the important thing for many fans to remember is that Pat and the boys are lower middle class (or lower class) Pitt kids, who were taught to not whisper about people, confront your beef head on, and be transparent about your own mistakes and also stand your ground. Then Pat was in the NFL bubble, where relationships and interactions and beef are all public, and your reputation is absolutely critical to your livelihood.
I see the reasons why so many don’t like it, and why so many think he did wrong. In 2023, with the way cultural mindsets have changed, and with how none of us understand the mind of an NFL player, I think the wrong perception can easily be developed and he may come across in a manner that he did not intend. I’d say continue to follow his actions and his words in future interactions and see if he’s a strong enough character to grow and develop a more “normal” mindset on such things.

I’m a pat supporter but the first interview was horrible. I do get sick of pats acting like his life is so much more difficult for normal reasons. A lot of people have employees, a lot of people have kids and a lot of people are stressed. I get Pat maybe busier than most of us but he also has NO financial stress. Pat has more irons in the fire than me but he hasn’t had finaical stress in 14 years. Just 2021-2022 I was absolutely broke and had to get a new job to provide for my family. He doesn’t have that stress. No excuse to act so immature or as if he’s busier/better than everyone

Craziest part of that first interview to me is that it was pre-recorded*. Meaning Pat and the boys had time to review it, and *still thought ‘yeah, that went great. Let’s start the show off with it’

Just caught up to this show. Glad everyone else agrees that was absolutely ridiculous to do to that guy in the first “interview” literally made me reconsider watching this show anymore and I’ve seen every episode for over 2 years.
Jeeze Pat was oozing a demeaning attitude that whole interview…. Kept on bringing up that the tweet was still up, even though Brett already said why it was still up; to not hamstring the momentum of the movement. Jeeze this was tough to watch
