  1. These Pac schools are already working to destabilize the Big 12. The Big12 has shot itself in the foot, and the added schools are the gangrene that will eventually kill the conference.

  2. Adults gossipping; the real US past time. Lets see what the american education system looks like in 20 years and how the leadership voids are filled in our society. We are a joke.

  3. Getting ridiculous… Pac12 schools are now moving out east to play football…college football is dead ☠️

  4. Like North Carolina State has water polo. LOL There aren't even 2 dozen division 1 water polo teams in total.

  5. Another level of stupid for ACC to bring in remnants of Pac12. Doesn’t help media revenue, dilutes earnings, scheduling nightmare for west coast, Pac12 had debt ?, … ACC needs to focus on increased revenue, and working more closely with espn, to leverage the espn contract ownership of both SEC and ACC.

  6. Even if these Olympic sports programs survive, they are going to have a difficult time recruiting. Over the long term this only benefits the SEC in all sports. The shorter travel and regionality of the SEC is going to give it an edge in recruiting ALL sports.

  7. Stanford joins many fine athletic departments in the ACC (assuming that somehow happens). They don't have quality all sports conference options in the west without the PAC. Many high ranking directors cup programs in the ACC.

  8. I can’t speak to every sport but track gymnastics swimming and water polo don’t have a lot of conference games or meets that are against pac 12 teams they compete in tournaments.
I think swimming would have trouble going to a conference tournament so close to ncaa’s and Olympic trails they have a lot of guys who should make the Olympic team the really can’t take time off from training

  9. This doesn't make any sense: if FSU can raise 120 million (for an ACC buyout) why the heck do they need the SEC's TV money? LOL

  10. As a Wazzu coug, we need to just merge with the mountain west or take the hit to the nuts and downsize to Big Sky. We need to keep geography over money and not stoop to the lows that the Huskies and Ducks did in grabbing the money.

  11. No more Western schools for the Big 12! We need an Eastern presence! We need to see what happens with the ACC. That means possibly adding four teams from Pitt, Virginia Tech, Louisville, NC State, Georgia Tech, Miami…, to help out West Virginia, Cincinnati, and UCF.

  12. Cal and Stanford isn’t going to raise the ACC TV pay outs. They bring no added value to the conf. This is clearly a wishful thinking story from CAL and Stanford

  13. Im really curious with all thia realignment, at one point will a conference have a serious conversation about dumping a school to replace with a better one.
