  1. Lots of data is great, but only if it is accurate. Would be interesting to run a test against a GC Quad for driver, 7i and a wedge to see how accurate each data point is – not just club head speed, ball speed, carry but all 16 different data points.

It would also be great to test this against the new Skytrack + launch monitor purely in terms of accuracy of data. Whilst Full Swing is a bit more expensive they are both what I would describe as consumer level LMs (admittedly only consumers with a lot of cash). I am not expecting them to be as accurate as a professional level LM such as GC Quad or Trackman but if they are close across the board I will be very impressed

  2. Very interesting product. They seem to have covered just about everything you would want in a launch monitor. The $5k price point matches it up with the GC3/Bushnell tier of monitors. Still finding it a hard sell over the garmin/rapsodo and mevo+/skytrack tiers. Maybe good for coaches or amateurs not able to put down the 18k+ for the quads/trackman tier.

  3. Seems an impressive bit of kit for it’s price point. Useful that it has ability to normalise from range balls. For the average player I struggling to see the point of these sorts of systems beyond indoor sim or garden net arrangements where the gamer ball can be used. Most Ranges have trackman or other systems in place but ultimately extrapolating from reduced compression range balls. I practice regularly on a Trackman Range with range balls and Trackman indoors with my gaming ball and there is quite a difference in “extrapolated” vs “actual” distances with gamer ball (Left Dash).

  4. Not a fan of their blatantly false advertising on their website. “The ONLY launch monitor with tour-level accuracy trusted by Tiger Woods.” Really? Tiger doesn’t trust using TrackMan?

  5. Is there anything it does (or does much better) than the Rapsodo? How about indoor use?
