Thrive With Age — CrossFit Masters

“Not giving up on life, getting to pick up my grandkids and play, and get up on the ground and off the ground — it’s a different life than I would’ve had without CrossFit.”

“When you lose your purpose, you get old. So I never want to lose my purpose.”

“If you just sit around, your age will catch up with you. And if you keep moving, you kind of keep ahead of your age.”

There are plenty of reasons to make health and fitness a priority, and as we grow older, it’s even more important to live a longer, more independent life.

CrossFit masters athletes are living proof of what health and fitness can look like as we age.

Whether it’s to keep up with grandkids, be an inspiration for others, remain self-reliant, or be the best version of yourself, it’s never too late to start.

  1. Need more videos of the masters athletes, I love to hear there stories, it’s so motivating. 💪🏾

  2. I love this. I’m 56 years old, five years in the CrossFit community. I look forward to many years of being an athlete, feeling great, and achieving cool things. I have to be here for my wife, my kids, my grandkids. I can’t turn into an old guy.

  3. Inspirational! They’re crushing it. That’s how I want to be when I’m older ❤

  4. Not clear how inscribe to open before 16 February for person older than +60 years. In your web there are only three categories, Rx etc, not masters

  5. I started at 58 and now at 63 I plan to go on at least another 10 years with Crossfit. Won't be as good as these oldies are (I😵‍💫cardio &😍weightlifting) but nonetheless in the top10 of Holland gives me a good feeling. Great sport!

  6. Crossfit should focus more on these guys! Make these fantastic athletes famous. Normal people will relate to these athletes more. It should be the future of crossfit 👍

  7. Thrive with Age? Atleast have the decency to show their heats on the stream! Such a fail @crossfit
