  2. Good to have it in mind as a point of reference but nobody swings a club with 10 degrees of angle in mind

  3. Can you show photos of a few top 25 Tour pros near this angle at impact… my bet is that they are mostly another 20Β° higher than that and a fair bit more turned than your model shows unless they are using a short iron or wedge. But it’s a good point that the angle expands during the downswing

  4. Key point – holding angle will lead to wide open club face (or having to do some contorted with body/shoulders to square it up) which is basically my swing
