  1. does it have a fully covered outsole ? otherwise the ZoomX will be shredded in no time.

  2. I wonder if they sell spares for those spikes. I wonder if one had a track dragonfly and just buy these spikes as spare and mount on the track dragonfly for XC use. That would have been a cheaper option.

  3. Makes sense to have an official XC version. Everyone has been racing in Dragonfly in my cross country season this year. I like those spike pins, my teammate has a set of those in his shoes and they work very well.

  4. As a high school runner I know peoples dragonfly’s kept getting shredded in the back half and the plate in the forefoot was getting all banged up and dull. So I think the main idea here is just to make it more durable, other Nike xc spike offerings have those black pyramid style pins

  5. The “cleats” are actually more so the dirt and mud don’t cling on to them as opposed to track spikes.

  6. I feel like they are gonna be a flop, definitely heavier and stacked higher so its gonna feel like a downgrade

  7. can someone explain cross country spikes to me, because it seems like they would feel really uncomfortable when running on cement.

  8. I think the main advantages of these over normal dragonfly's are the rubber covering the spike plate and previously exposed midfoot. As the plastic spike plate can easily crack and the ffoam gets shredded up pretty easily.

  9. question. can you take those spikes out the same way with normal spikes? i race in california, and it’d be very beneficial since many race courses have long cement pavement portions. as well as spikes being banned from competition in xc.

  10. Are the spikes going to come out sometime over the summer before xc season starts?
