How to chip out of the rough like LEGEND Phil Mickelson

In this video Phil Mickelson gives the viewers the principles and fundamentals needed to chip the golf ball out of the high rough effectively. Phil Mickelson explains how a golfer can’t rely on spin to get the golf ball stopped on the putting green. Spin on the golf ball can not be created with so much grass between the club and the golf ball. Phil Mickelson explains how we must rely on trajectory to get the golf ball stopped on the putting green. Phil Mickelson utilizes trajectory by implementing and combining the hinge and hold method (taught in part 1) and by utilizing some of the lob shot principles (taught in part 3). Phil Mickelson also explains and demonstrates the techniques involved to get the golf ball to run and release when chipping out of the high rough. Phil Mickelson gets a “chip in” while demonstrating this technique.
