  1. you didnt have to know much about basketball to watch Magic and know why he was called Magic. It was mesmerizing, there will never be another Magic Johnson. And the more you know about the game the more you realize how great he really was. Very few players are truly great, but there are some, rarer still are those once in a generation player that makes everyone around them look like an all star. That was Magic.

  2. Magic may not be the greatest player of all time, but he is definitely the greatest personality in NBA history.

  3. I'm not surprised, Magic was a force. He played every position on the court. And he beat Bird in the college championship, I'm sure that stayed with him.

  4. MAN, THAT WAS SOME FUN BALL N TO WATCH, THEN GO OUTSIDE AND TRY TO PLAY LIKE MY BASKETBALL HEROS !!!

  5. As much as I loved magic, kareem and team mates. I have to say Larry Bird was the best of all time. Who else could play left handed all game and run circles around everyone.

  6. Due respect but I don’t think he ever referred to Magic as “god disguised as a basketball player”. I’m also not sure where he ever said Magic the #1 player of all time “again” in this or any other video.

  7. Everyone knows its Wilt (individually) but since basketball is a team sport it is the Lord of the Rings – Bill Russell.

  8. I love Larry Bird! he played the game hard, smart and the right way – even back in the day, when anger was in every play. LOL. its funny how 'Magic and Bird or Bid and magic' just Go Together. Yea, Magic could do it all, and was the first guy to do it all so well – even to this day. With that said, I bet the only person Larry probably STILL hates is…who? Guess? 🙂

  9. I mean magic was always my favorite player, he could do amazing things on the court, was the most fun and entertaining basketball player Ive seen, but the best of all time is obviously Jordan

  10. Nikola Jokic is better than Johnson. Nilola is more complete player than Johnson. The best of all time is MJ.

  11. MK is the best ever god of basketball and there wasn't and there isn't anyone like him, period.

  12. Bill Russell is no.1. Larry respects the hell out of him, but he faced Magic. we're still trying to get over MIAMI, here in greater Boston (2023). no.18 seems like it's gonna take forever. but give it up to the HEAT, especially the Jamie Foxx look-alike, JIMMY BUTLER.

  13. Those dudes saved the NBA. Hard to believe, but the FINALS weren’t even broadcast live back then anymore. Bird and Magic changed all that forever.

  14. Well he didn’t say the best of all time, just implied better than him – as his brother said.

  15. To all, regardless of your age, the greatest basketball player of all time, bar none, is Wilt Chamberlain. My favorite basketball player of all time. Look at the stats plus the unrivaled athleticism. Wilt is the total package. The best scorer, best rebounder most dominant player the game has ever seen or will ever see. Wilson Norman Chamberlain, the greatest basketball player of all time!!! Nobody will ever come close!!!

  16. If it was a tribute to Wilt Chamberlain or Michael Jordan, the same 'best of all time' status would be spoken, I sense.

  17. Both of these dudes played against the #1 NBA player of all time. He just wasn't present that evening.

  18. He also said if you wanna know who the greatest player is look at the record books. Who owns the record books Wlt Chamberlain.
