  1. Let's be fair now, if McIlroy had Brad Faxon's putting no telling how many majors he would've won by now

  2. Maybe Brad should take a page out of Rory's own playbook when Rory snapped back at a player in the first player's meeting about the PiF merger and told that dude to play better.

The Open broadcast was a perfect example of how all the broadcasts worship at the Altar of Rory. Harman was putting on a MASTERCLASS in how to make your peers look like clowns the same way Tiger did in the '00 US Open at Pebble and yet it's not golf they want to praise. It's cult of personality BS.

    Keep it, Faxon.

  3. So sensitive Brad faxon. But is it for Rory or himself more ?
The fact is Rory is playing great, even his wedge game is producing better results, but his putting is still holding him back. And the truth is he has been with faxon for a while now.
Faxon is funny with this being a commentator whom supposedly doesn’t criticize anyone.
He won’t criticize Monahan because they are friends.
He won’t criticize Rory or anyone because he is an instructor.
As a commentator, what are you good for? Not that I buy that he doesn’t criticize anyone. He does.

  4. thank you brad & happy birthday your way you answered all the question"s & some experiences really help my waining believe in the pga restored somewhat, i feel inspired again about golf!

  5. He's got the yips he cant even hit it out the middle. Media need to move on from Rory he's done in Majors until he sorts his putting

  6. Rory's putting has improved a lot over recent years, he's never going to be Cam Smith but he's definitely much better than Scottie Scheffler for example.

  7. It's so stupid, Rory deserves all the criticism he gets, he sucks. A decade a man considered, at one time, to rewrite the record book, but he sucks. Because the best golfer in the game cannot win big events; because he sucks. But, there's nothing wrong with sucking, we all wish we could suck like Rory. That should be the t-shirt, Suck like Rory…nice..!!

  8. I think McIlroy's putting stroke is just fine. HIs putts seem to start in the direction he intends and speed is good. Reading putts seems to be the weakness – the intended lines aren't the right ones. Unless Faxon is going to caddie for McIlroy and help read putts, he'd have a hard time fixing that issue. McIlroy really could use a caddie who can take a lot of the load in reading putts.

  9. Sports media is terrible, the whole sports apparatus promotes who they think will get most eyeballs on their brand, and other than Tiger Woods and Phil Nicholson in the modern era nobody has been able to stand up to the hype, nobody!
