  1. it would be funny if he hurt Paul in the last rounds and immediately jumped Guillotine and kept it no matter how much the ref tried to stop it

  2. I fully expect Nate to look slow and sloppy. To back away making silly comments and gangsta sheet, throw some back handers and a slap here and there. Then for Jake to mysteriously be slow to throw any punches for the first few rounds as Nate continues as before. Then either Jake will knock him out in spectacular fashion like he did to Woodley with only a few punches thrown, or: The fight goes the distance, and Nate is cheated by the judges, because, you know, that always happens. Nate will walk away with a victory either way and who knows what comes next. A great and silly fight.

  3. From a size perspective this fight makes no sense. Jake fights around 185-190 Diaz is best at 155 and at 170 against other 155ers that don’t want to cut weight. The only shot Nate has is to somehow avoid the big shots which he’s never been great at, everyone knows Nate’s defense isn’t the best, but I really hope he gets it done. It would be a shame to see him brutally KO’d

  4. Went and watched Diaz vs Daley. A joke stoppage, Daley was in trouble but he was defending himself and kicking Diaz to keep him at bay. He deserved the few seconds left in the round to hang on till the bell. Awful stoppage by the ref.

  5. I'm genuinely curious, do you think that the Diaz brothers are a victim of the marketing juggernaught that is the UFC? They constantly get typed as these tough, weed smoking, rule breaking non-conforming gangsters. Don't get it wrong, the Diaz brothers are the epitome of cool. Their legacy in MMA history will live way beyond that of many a champion past and present. Yet isn't it that "gang" culture that they've been fighting all their life to escape? For sure they're proud to represent Stockton and their local community, but proud in a way of showing people a different way and not the violence and crime that once plagued their childhoods. I think part of the reason why Nate hates doing any media is because he's constantly stereotyped. Nate Diaz obviously sees Jake Paul for what he is, a master conman who exploits the public into believing that he is putting on legitimate and fair fights when in reality the cards are always stacked in his favour. On top of that, Jake is doing exactly what the UFC used to do and making Nate out to be a street thug. Is this why he walks out of the Paul press conferences and face offs?

  6. I enjoy your breakdowns and content in general so much that I watched this despite not wanting to give any attention or additional views to Paul (and boxing if I'm being honest.) Great analysis as usual mate

  7. Weird yet compelling fight for the first few rounds after that its a Diaz take over!! Great breakdown

  8. My main concerns in this fight for Nate is his footwork, he's always had a habit of walking in the ring at times instead of moving front foot first, if he gets hit while his feet aren't set Jake may be able to knock him down if not hurt him. I'm also a bit worried about how Nate's volume will fare against a tight guard with the bigger gloves, harder for even his accuracy to get much effective work done if he's not using a clinch or guard manipulation.
Don't get me wrong, i could easily see Nate winning on the cards or in the late rounds simply due to Jake running out of gas against Nate's consistent work. But a few knock-downs in the early part of the fight could make a win on the cards difficult if not out of reach entirely, and of course like Dan said, cuts could easily become an issue for Nate.
