Mr. Classic- As you noted, the gapping of the short irons seems unusual. Maybe there's a good reason for this, but if not it's easy for a pro to adjust the lofts of these lovely clubs. I look forward to your Part 2 playing video!

Is that really a shot from the 1953 Ryder Cup At 10.05 ? The golfer looks like Abe Mitchell but I think he would have passed away by then .

Another great documentary, very well researched, his autobiography was a wealth of knowledge. A mint condition set of clubs too, well done on that acquisition. Can't wait for Part 2.
He really had a Sam Snead type of swing at least what i can see from the photo.
Those Swilken irons are very like the peter Thomson irons hou showd before.
