I only got two picks right this round but one of them was west coast to win and I am a Freo supporter, I didn’t pick Freo to win!
If the AFL are serious about concussion injury and protecting players (which they say they are) they have to sanction Port for what happened on the weekend.
On Freo – they're absolutely trolling their fans saving that sort of effort when it's too late for them to make finals.
On West Coast potential retirees – surely Shuey retires and Hurn plays one more. Shuey can't stay on the park for more than a few weeks without pinging a hammie, and all that scar tissue is only going to mean he keeps doing them. Hurn's performance today showed he's still got it, even if he has to be managed during the season (something we haven't been able to do the last few years due to massive injury lists).
Freo a good win but it has come too late

Maybe also consider a second sub specifically for concussion related incidents, so let's say if those two hit each other (friendly fire) and they both need to go out, the club can get two players to replace them. Only would work for concussions specifically (which need to be assessed by a third party doctor), not regular injuries.
I am saying this because from a coaches perspective losing two players at once in a tough game like that is pretty much losing the match if the players are good players.
