The Toronto Maple Leafs are broken.

#nhl #hockey #nhlplayoffs

The Toronto Maple Leafs dropped game 3 to the Florida Panthers in the 2nd round of the playoffs & right now.. this team looks broken. We break down exactly what’s wrong with their current system, why it’s not working, and why Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner, John Tavares, and William Nylander are nowhere to be found.

  1. Toronto is playing baby style and Florida like they should. Leafs out in 4! Trade Auston, Mitch, Nyli and JT to Chicago, retain 50% of their salary, get that 1 pick and start a rebuild with a new GM, President and coaching stuff

  2. Mathews is already planning his next contract on an americam team. I say adios bitchacho

  3. The leafs are playing a FlorIda team that is still playing like they did in the final 3 games against Boston, lights out, and if the leafs could win at least one game, it may be what Florida needs to hoist the Stanley cup

  4. Just Too soft and really disappointing they play like its a regular season game. That soft play from Matthews at the blue line ended up being the reason why Sammy got hurt.

  5. Your entire video is acting like it’s the entire round, but you’re really just speaking about game 3. Leafs were dominant in games 1 and 2.

  6. It's teams like the Leaf's that could really benefit from having one or two enforcers on the roster.

  7. The Toronto Make Me Laughs simply don’t know how to check, skate, shoot and deke.
Other than that they would probably win the Championship in an industrial league.

  8. i dont understand the whole they won round 1 theyll win the cup… as if thats the bar for cup winners do you really believe all the years of poor leadership is nullified by 1 series?

  9. Toronto Cream Puffs. No heart, no tenacity and way, way to passive. You can't be a top team made up of goal scores only. Start polishing those clubs boys.

  10. Very exciting to see the leafs in round 2. Of 32 teams, only 1 wins the cup, making the other 31 teams "LOSERS". Leafs got lucky in round 1, unlucky so far in round 2. Panthers are playing very well, shutting down the "big 4".

  11. Right from the start this video needs correction.

Said: "The Toronto Maple Leafs are absolutely broken right now."
Correction: "The Toronto Maple Leafs are absolutely broken."

  12. THEY COULD CARE LESS THEY MAKE THEIR MILLIONS REGARDLESS = FAIL INCENTIVE

  13. The Leafs may be broken, but so are the Boston Bruins — their abysmal first round defeat erases all that they have accomplished during the regular season. At least Toronto made it to the second round.

  14. Are the Leafs the NHL version of the Cleveland Guardians/Indians? I would ask if they are the NHL version of my Cubs, but then no pro team has ever gone 108 years between championships. Lmao

  15. How many more studs do the Maple Leafs need to add? This is inexcusable. I’m a Red Wings fan, so this pisses me off as a sports better. How many more stud players is enough? The Maple Leafs are loaded, so why did they crumble? What is wrong with NHL stud players? LeBron wins all the time, he’s a stud, so is Steph Curry, so is Tom Brady, the only pro sport outlier that doesn’t compute or fit this narrative is the Tampa Bay Rays. They have ZERO stud players, yet still win or manage to be consistently competitive year in and year out. What does Toronto need to do to get over the hump? Move to North Korea? WTF! Maybe Kim Jon Un can turn this team around? Lmao

  16. It's a phenomenon of being "too successful", in this case financial success for the Leafs. They became too big and comfortable, think Rocky in the movie Rocky III. They need to trim the fat, get that "Eye of the Tiger" back. I hear that they have the best of everything, from sports medicine, to facilities, analytics etc. They have to get leaner and hungrier again. How they do that, who knows. It may be impossible by now. They have a huge target on their backs not just because of the excess, but the huge chain around their necks that the franchise itself formed link by link through decades of mediocre results on the ice.

  17. The Leafs should NOT break up the so-called "core four", yes, except for Nylander, they are badly overpaid, rumor has it Matthews is going to ask for $14 million, which is way too high, also Dubas's firing will not bring the desired results that fanatics are forecasting, there's little reason to believe Treliving(if hired), at best an average GM, would lead the Leafs to serious cup contention and not just cheap, 4:59 pre-season talk about how good the latest version of the Leafs is, there are questions about the top 2 LW positions, the bottom 6, and the blue line to say the least, to follow up Dubas's firing with Keefe's and then to house clean the front office, (which is being rumored) are a fool's errand that in all likelihood will not produce positive results, I do believe a cup final awaits the Leafs but about 5 or so years down the road but only if proper decision by the Toronto brass( think Shanahan) is made
