Death, taxes, Eamon bringing up LIV
When you mention Q school and Kornferry to re-qualify as part of the "disciplinary aspect" of the leaked memo, Phil has it spot on. JM was throwing it out there to get a reaction using whatever political capital he has left. This is what happens when there is a lack of leadership. Let the pundits have their "clickbait" and everybody will find December at their doorstep requesting an extension to further iron (sorry for the pun) out the details, etc. My popcorn is getting stale. We need new leadership in the PGA.

Thomas needs to take some time off and do a near-complete reboot. Right now, he just has the same demons chasing each other around through his head.
OTOH, Monahan needs to go away and stay away. He didn't have a clue how to deal with LIV and has been flailing since it started. Maybe when Monahan goes away, he can take Mickelson with him.
