Then get rid of the abomination thats is "The Commanders" and name them "The Burgundy & Gold" Which shouldn't have been the answer like 2 seconds after the woke mob cult made us change our name. Its been our unofficial nickname for 60 freaking years anyway. Bring back our history and tradition. This expansion team name has zero trophies. No brainer

    Great news! And the first order of business should be to change the name back to the Washington Redskins. The Washington Redskins franchise sold for $6 billion. Not the Washington commanders. The Washington Redskin franchise and its Fanbase and its long history of winning Super Bowls that was sold for $6 billion. It is not fair to the fans and the NFL that this man could come in and buy the team and change the name on a whim because it’s Hsu it’s suited the climate of the day. It’s not fair and in less than two years sell the team. No this is an injustice to the long history of the Washington Redskins fans the franchise and the NFL. This should not be allowed to happen. The first order of business is without a moments notice change the name back to the Washington Redskins. Without fanfare without any parades without any discussions just change the name back to the Washington Redskins. Make this wrong a right. The Washington Redskins is a proud franchise a winning franchise five Super Bowls three Super Bowl wins and arguably the greatest coach of all time Joe Gibbs went to 13 Super Bowls went to four Super Bowls with three different quarterbacks. It’s time to write this wrong this injustice. The fans of the Washington Redskins I’ve sat by for 30 years and watch this destroy their franchise their team. And before he goes out the door he changes the name to the commanders. Do you know they’re calling the Washington Redskins the Washington communist, the Washington Commies. This is a stain on the NFL this is an injustice to the fans and this is a disgrace to the United States of America and the government of Washington DC. And forever Daniel Snyder will forever have his over us for the rest of the time we have to call our Redskins commanders. Be done with Daniel Snyder forever be done with his cancer of the league. First order of business will change the name back to the Washington Redskins hail to the Redskins hail victory Braves on the warpath fight for all DC. Change your name it’s the right thing to do.     Don't Care to much about all this nonsense .. I been a Washington Redskins fan since I was 5 years old .. I'm 61 young and Strong .. Ok it's one thing to change their name from the Redskins to the Commanders , but would someone PLEASE take that silly Commanders name and those UGLY Helmets that looks like a College team and rename them .. Why don't they rename them from the old NBA Basketball team , and rename them the WASHINGTON BULLETS .. Especially when they play our old enemy the Dallas cowboys.. Do anybody recall when Howard Cosell in the early to middle 70s when the Miami Dolphins & the Buffalo Bills was going at it head to head ? Howard Cosell said , Miami got the Oranges , but Buffalo has the Juice.. This is when Buffalo had OJ Simpson , who Nick name was the Juice .. How about , Dallas have the Cowboys but Washington has the Bullets .. Come on Owners wake up ..
