  1. Liking the new coach. Has a hybrid approach with the theory, practical and analysis. Will try out these drills at the range next time!

  2. I feel like this guy is teaching you more of a hands release and the other guy (Mike) is teaching more of a body/passive release. Maybe that's why it's confusing. Might be good to commit to one or the other.

  3. Followed you from the beginning, and this is my first comment🤐. 1. At your stage of development be obsessed about quality of strike not about what direction the ball went, direction is easy to fix once you are striking the ball well. 2. Stop collapsing on your follow through, even when you completely mis-hit the ball you must fully complete your follow through with discipline and hold your finish for 5 seconds. Love your channel, keep it up and remember – golf is hard.

  4. mike was trying to get you to the same place using different words. funny how some of this resonated more for you vs what mike was trying to get you to feel.

  5. the upper body wants to move forward is like a plaque to me LOL. Always makes the same mistake over and over

  6. I wish I could afford a coach at this level, I can not find a coach that will go over the basics, all they seem to do is fiddle so I can go on the course and play the same old rubbish I’ve always played

  7. Easier said than done…..but don't be in a rush to fix everything at once. Focus on perfecting the impact. Chris is the perfect coach for you. You can hear the quality of the strike improving. good job 🙂

  8. These new training sessions have been amazing! I love how simple Chris makes it. Keep up the great content. Looking forward to seeing a full course play after these lessons. You will see major major improvement even if your score doesn’t show. You will hit more fairways and more greens for sure!

  9. Also I’m so glad Chris put you in check when you said “where is my chest…” it’s great to have questions but I feel like your trying to solve all these huge ideas right away! He’s leading you to solving the fundamentals in pieces and it’s helping big time! Great lesson

  10. It looks like you've got the right instructor for you. You look like a different person hit the ball now

  11. One of the best video so far!
Thank you man, I am an overthinker like you. This lesson also helped me to reset my swing!

  12. Mate, with that blonde practising behind you I would have postponed the lesson and get her number.

  13. Only videos I watch from beginning to end plus I’ve never commented on any YouTube content. Keep it up!

  14. Dude does he have a rocket in his bag? Lol Training aide looks like another level whatever that big thing might be

  15. The more I rewatch these videos, the more I appreciate Chris’ coaching style and approach to keeping things simple. I also try to do too many things at once, and with Chris it’s easy to focus on ingraining one good pattern at a time. I look forward to seeing more of these lesson videos with Chris!

  16. I struggle with this head move, it’s very confusing when people say get your weight into lead foot but keep head back, head is connected to body/mass, how do I get my weight forward while I keep my mass back!?!? 🤷🏻‍♂️

  17. Keep uo the grind there is much less curve on the shots. You're definitely heading in the right direction

  18. He’s teaching you to roll your hands which involves timing. You are already below average with your hand eye coordination. This is the wrong release you need to learn. You’d be better of with a Milo Lines release which doesn’t require timing.

  19. This guy seemed way better than my golftec coaches, they sucked! I had one coach for a few months that ended up quitting, and then after waiting several weeks for a replacement my next coach also ended up quitting! And I barely learned anything between the two of them! Afterwards golftec refused to honor my prepaid lesson plan and cancelled my practice bay priveleges lol, stick to course pros people!

  20. That takeaway is too much to the inside. I recommend watching coach Porzac's channel to hone in on your swing. If you swing too much to the inside your club is going to have to reroute in a steeper path or over the top on your down swing or else you'll shank it

  21. Watched these videos and this one had me change my grip and swing. Went from mid 90s to shot 80. Probably just luck though 😂😂. Stay inside the phonebox

  22. Chris seems like a great coach. I love his demeanor and how he's constantly trying to keep everything simple. I think in a month from now, you're going to be a substantially better golfer.

  23. Thank you, thank you, thank you Jerome!!!! ❤
I've been struggling hard this season. I even shot 100 the last round I played and I play off an 8.3 handicap.
Having seen a video by another youtuber and this video I just had to go to the range and jeeze, what a difference!!!
Normally I hit a 7 iron from 150 yards, but this season I've struggeled to hit it 140 yards, but this video in combination with the other video made me find my swing again and then some…. 😎
The last 7 iron I hit actually carried 165 yards!!!!!

  24. Great content … lover the drills. Jerome, I'm having flashbacks of analysis paralysis. Think less. I think you have a "good" natural swing that would be more fluid if you did.

  25. Question: Chris seems to be promoting hand in / clubhead out at the first parallel checkpoint (on the toe line). If I do this, I immediately get a cupped left wrist, which I really don't think I want to have at any point in the backswing. Am I missing something?

  26. I learn so much more from these videos of coaches teaching him than I do watching any of the clickbait coaches.

  27. This is exactly what I was going to comment! Go and practice your shots not scoring. I like this coach for you
