Ik this is a hot take but I can't stand Skip Bayless or Stephen A Smith for pretty much the same exact reasons. Shannon TALKS game because he KNOWS the game. Did Skip or Stephen ever play a single sport even at a collegiate level? I'll watch Shannon wherever he goes, but my viewership is mostly with McAfee now.
I've seen Shannon playfully rib Skip about teams and players he likes. I haven't watch every single show but, I don't recall Shannon ever taking the kind of very personal shots Skip has taken at him. If you've ever been in a relationship like that, you know it's exhausting and 7 years was enough for Shannon. I wish Shannon well as he has worked hard at his "new" craft.
