Nash got MVP in 06 because everyone thought they'd be worse without Amare Stodemire, Joe Johnson, and Quentin Richardson. But instead Boris Diaw, Raja Bell, Tim Thomas and Leandro Barbosa balled their asses off because Nash gave them trust and confidence. Something Shaq and Kobe could never do with their role players.

Kendrick Perkins needs to research the word "cumulative." MVP is not measured off of one Stat, it's a cumulative of several stats and factors.
How is Perkins their man guy for basketball on ESPN? All the talent they have let go recently — and they keep him?? SUCH A JOKE! And Reddick gets validation for what happened in the playoffs. Jokic proved him right and Embid proved Perkins wrong. I realize that the MVP is a regular season award, but it's clearly obvious that Jokic is more valuable.

Here’s some real facts, Steve Nash deserved both of his mvps, 04-05 he turned the suns into the best offense of the decade, while putting up 50-40-90, Shaq had a great year but Nash edged him out for what the suns did as a team that year. 05-06 Nash deserved it even more that year then the year before, why? Because Nash put up even better numbers than the year before, and helped the suns stay dominant offensive juggernaut without their best player Amare Stoudemire. Amare was out the entire season for microfracture surgery, and Nash still made the suns dangerous without Amare. Shaq wasn’t even top 10 in votes in 05-06, Wade was the best player on that team. Kobe was the best player in the league and he got 4th place in voting, Dirk got 3rd and Lebron got 2nd. So it could be said yea Kobe deserved it but Nash deserved it also and earned rightfully for how he guided the suns without Amare. Dirk deserved his MVP in 2006-2007, lead the mavs to 67-15 record. Mavs got beat by warriors in 1st round but it’s a reg season award.

With Jokic, he probably deserved to three- peat but being that no one else has done it, Perk didn't want to see Jokic win the MVP for a third time consecutively bcuz there have been other greats that never accomplished that and Jokic isn't the greatest of all-time
