  1. So amazing to watch this horse float he must be a amazing ride 💖💖❤love lottie and glamordale!!!💖💖❤💖

  2. She spurred that horse every stride, how she achieved those scores is beyond reason.A talented horse ridden by a mediocre rider who has to rely on force and ridiculously large spurs in use constantly. Yet she is revered, disgusting 🤮

  3. Unfriendly reminder that the FEI has removed Rollkur penalizations from their rulebook so that those who practice it can do so without reprecussions.

  4. The whole point of Grand Prix Dressage at the highest level, is that the riders aids are invisible to the onlooker and that the horse appears to be doing everything of its own accord. I didn't see that here. Without this fundamental principal, the music, choreography and spectacle mean nothing.

  5. I hate when there's these favorite couples in dressage – Gal/Totilas, Dujardin/Valegro, Werndl/Dalera, and now Fry/Glamourdale – it makes the competitions so boring and so predictable – I didn't even have to watch the grand prix this weekend to know that of course those two will win, and as seen in this freestyle, it's not necessary deserved – (lots of tension, protest from the horse, and failing in the pirouettes) – personally I think Benjamin Werndl did a way better job overall and deserved the win, but we can't have that, can't we, because people have bought tickets to see Glamourdale win…

  6. how did they win when at 3:20 happend? nothing good or harmonious about that. well thats what you get when you're a favorite. and then we aren't even talking about the test before this one. that test was also not to good and she still won jesus . what a shame. nothing glamorous about this.

  7. Horse didn't look very comfortable, protested at one point and the rider is clearly spurring him pretty vigorously, and they won?

  8. all looks very manufactured, all the movement came from an over exaggerated leg action, very litter lengthening of the frame. it just was not pretty. when will correct riding breeding and training be rewarded. its all about the flash moving mutant horses. sorry if this isn't everyone's opinion but can't help but wonder where this all will end

  9. So many dressage riders either use rollkur methods, ride btv, hyperflex the neck, or overbend the neck of a horse when riding. FEI to me has always been a joke, if they cared they should have made the changes that needed to be made, and stuck to their rules and regulations, instead of letting high end riders get away with horrible riding skills and techniques just because of who they r. No rider no matter who they r or what level they r at should get away with bad riding or training. She started riding behind the vertical immediately, which was irritating to see. A horse should be on the vertical when performing dressage, and if they go slightly in front of the vertical it is fine. A horse's face should be parallel to the ground. A horse looses 10% to 12% of their breathing capacity when they r ridden behind the vertical. Also, when they r ridden btv is also causes them to not be able to move forward properly or use their hindend properly. Very often horses that consistently stay behind the vertical are also difficult to ride in a forward, active tempo. This has a negative effect on the quality of the delivery of the rider's aids, consequently, the pairing becomes a picture of discord and antagonism. A horse should be able to maintain a steady head position, more importantly their poll should be the highest point of the neck. A horse shouldn't be fighting the bit if trained and ridden properly. U can immediately tell he is uncomfortable when he starts out. From his body in general, to his ears, to his mouth, to his tail, etc. When a horse is too high they demonstrate a hollow frame(fov). When a horse is too low it demonstrates a shortened frame(btv). By staying behind the vertical it can also make the bit lighter in the mouth, and resist working correctly by keeping the hindquarters disengaged, thereby not over-tracking or working from behind into the bridle. A consequence is the rider cannot develop the gaits to show any engagement, self-carriage, or even changes of tempo within the pace. It makes it harder to perform and teach higher level moves, such as lateral movements. There r many other problems associated from riding behind the vertical as well. Things definitely need to change.

  10. Stunning horse? Yes. Talented rider? Yes. Best performance? Hardly. Hind legs are still very weak and there is not much movement in the piaffer and extended trot, there certainly were better movers in this competition…also, those one tempis at 4:30 were ugly 🥴

  11. Glamourdale is a wonderful stallion, but he doesn't seem happy in the mouth, he's very tense and the shanks of the curb bit are tight all the time. He's at the top, but still deficient at the 2nd level of traing scale (relaxation)…

  12. Shame once again on the FEI for rewarding incorrect riding. It amazes me that these people get paid to score rides, and those of us "lay" people could do a better job of it with blindfolds on.

Too bad you don't think a horses well-being is worth a lower score.

  13. Horse abuse…

    …so tightened riding.

Can't watch without feeling empathy for these poor souls.

Never allowed to jump and run free.

Only moves that they may do are training hours…again and again the same.

How cruel must the training be when this performance is that way we can see!

No to peopke like these who don't 'see' their horses souls.

It's all about money and nothing about friendship between mankind & animal.

    Sad, very sad!

Nothing loose- most of the whole performance shows

  14. sad to say, hidden abuse. fei you’re horrific for allowing rollkur for horses. do you even care about animals at this point

  15. Disappointing to add the national anthem to the music.😧 Who cares they are english. The horse is dutch anyway

  16. Talented rider, talented horse, but its very uncomfortable to watch when the horses neck is so short and he seems forcibly held together in front. I so wish she would start to lengthen his neck and lengthen the reins. Let his mouth go!

  17. That is actually the very FIRST announcer I’ve ever heard acknowledging that horses indeed are not machines, and do in fact have a mind of their own! 😃❤️
