  1. Great video and tip – I struggle with the pull and just seeing how isolating the hands at the top and thinking about the first move being down vs out is fantastic. Can definitely notice a difference now on the range and feel that I’m keeping the club face much more on plane to ball contact than before

  2. Brilliant, I used to shank everything now I’m pulling I think it’s the bottom half that’s causing mine, I’ll defo be out tomorrow trying this new to me drill

  3. Good info…I was an 6 hcp. Then I got sick with cancer and had Hip, both knees, and right ankle replaced over the last 10 yrs. With all the joint replacements and changing my swing. i now am working hard to get back my swing. I hit big draws. Sometimes i hit a mid flight hook or pull. Someone said that I was flipping my hands. Maybe I am to steep? Back when I was a 6 hcp. I whore a ankle brace on my right ankle. Plastic. I could not push off very well. My swing was more of a timing swing. Now I can push off good. I put a ball 6 to 8 inches behind my ball to make sure the path is correct. That doesn't work. It;s frustrating. The driver is straight and maybe a draw. FW. Big draw. I think that my right elbow is out like chicken wing coming down. Thats the fw only. I dont do that with my irons. My irons are 1* flat. I tried to get fitted for my irons last year. The fitter said that i needed to be 4* upright. If i am drawing the ball. Wouldn't that make it worst? I dont slice ….ever.I will try to pull the hands down.( drop the arms). My wedges are straight as well. Maybe swinging to hard?

  4. Great video. Will try this at the range tomorrow. I think this will fix my pull problem. Is this the same for driver?

  5. Great stuff. I was swinging well…last year…but starting the year with a consistent pull…even on half-swings! Thanks for the demo of the bad swings as I sense that my hands were too far from my body and, yes, I'm terrified of hitting well behind the ball. Rehearsing in three parts is giving me confidence. Now to the range!

  6. This was a great video. I am 70 year old with 5 handicap but have started hitting left with all clubs and low smothering left with driver. Getting no height to speak of. This video feels right will go and practice tomorrow.

  7. Very good information. Exactly what I've been working on during the winter months and it has helped so much.

  8. Someone told me to act as if I’m dropping my hands and letting the club drop. This is demonstrating exactly what he said to me. Thank you

  9. Thank you for the video. That's exactly the issue I have. I'll practice the drill you provided in the video next time in the range.

  10. Thank you. Thank you! I pull the ball exactly as you have stated. I go through periods when I play pulling the freakin ball. I am going to the range and practice dropping my arms. Excellent explanation and remedy.

  11. Bloody excellent I’ve been wondering why my shots have been going left with a draw finish. Cheers.

  12. Terrific instruction on this swing concept. This describes exactly how my game was today. The drill seems spot on and I will take it to the range this week. It’s so frustrating to hit a great drive, have a short iron in and yank it to the left. Happened at least 3 times today. Thanks Kerry.

  13. Just to add to my previous comment. Today I worked on this move dropping the arms. I found for my irons it worked great but when I went to the driver it took some work to get the release timed properly So I think with driver it requires morpractice in timing the release. I found that releasing earlier in that downward move worked best. Thanks again…

  14. TY,TY,TY for 3 yrs I have been trying to figure this out, especially pulling short irons and short pitches. Went out in my yard,I have 6 acres, after 2 attempts with A wedge badda bing. Now I ghave to practice up the iron scale.

  15. You make the cause very clear. The "pro" cure for this looks difficult to achieve. I'll have to give the drop and rotate technique a try on the range. I seem to get pulls when I try to swing too fast.

  16. Great vid! I’ve seen this drill before but a big question is when you are pulling down from the top, what matchup is needed/shallowing technique so that the force pulling down on the grip doesn’t steepen the shaft to much and send the clubhead out over the top. Thank you so much in advance! Keep up the great content !

  17. The message is good but far, far too repetitive. I couldn’t finish watching till the end as the repetition was ‘doing my head in’

  18. Great video. I always struggke with pull lefts, be interesting to see how that works. Would that be the same with the driver? As i have low snap hooks with that.

  19. I think this would explain a miss I had the other day. I had about 115 yds in and my divot point straight at the flag, but my ball missed 15 yards left on the green. It wasn’t a hook or draw either. So I’m thinking I pulled the handle down too much and pulled it left.

  20. Justin Rose missed cut at Open..one of my favorite players…I now will thing of his preswing dropping club..wonder if picking left lower quadrant of ball to hit might would help keep club inside…think will stick to your preswing dropping the club get the feel the motion rather thand add to my 35 swing thoughts on the backswing.
    Thanks your concise instruction

  21. Found when I say seventeen during swing my tempo makes it good feeling of club dropping.used to say Ernie Els or Cindy Crawford but found VJ Singh's 'Seven teen'.fits my tempo best.

  22. That’s definitely me. I hit it pure but left. Can’t wait to work on this. Thank you

  23. It always amazes me how simple these little fixes are, yet you don't realize it till someone shows you. This is exactly what I needed to see, thank you.

  24. Great video. Very visual and makes it easier to follow the approach. As a lefty on par threes I pull it right it seems every other time.

  25. I have the opposite problem, suddenly my balls are slicing to the right; on the irons only.

Driver has gotten very straight as it’s the main club I’ve been practicing over the past 5 months or so.
