  1. Bryan Harman made it work! Now time for you to make it work too! As always let me know what you need help with!

  2. I was always told not to break your wrist early in golf swing but I'm going to have to try this out I feel like it would pre-set impact with face and all I do is turn through the ball.

  3. gotta have that tilt to the shoulders. but presetting that trailing arm will definitely stop the chicken wing. and this drill relates to your earlier wedge drill that helps stop the chicken wing.

  4. As always Alex, excellent job explaining the right arm MAGIC MOVE! I have been using this right arm fold and unfold for some time now and it has really taken my game to a new level. I feel more confident in my ball striking since going to this MAGIC MOVE! I'll have to now remember your suggestion of: set, turn, and throw. Good Job Alex. Keep up the good work!

  5. Alex im left handed but i play golf righ handed and my biggesr struggle i convincing myself not to hit holly hell out of the ball please me try and slow down much abliged andy willetts

  6. I am having some major issues with my driver and a slice that has snuck back into my life. I seem to have difficulty getting my trail shoulder to "drop" in the rotation. This drill seems to simplify that movement somewhat. I know you recommended using irons but would this be a good drill for the driver as well?

  7. Best YT golf tips. To the point and easily understood. Can you do a video on what releasing the club actually involves? I do not have a repeated release because I'm not sure the exact steps. Thanks

  8. unbelievable ! just tested this in my indoor simulatorand guess what ! it works perfectly . Will test it right away tomorrow morning on the course. Thank you Alex. 😉

  9. Started doing this on my own a couple a days ago and it does make an amazing difference

  10. Been using the same trick for a while. Also helps if you keep that wrist hinge through your downswing. Keeps the club head square and you don’t need to adjust for anything 👌👌👌 Alex stop releasing all the secrets 😂😂

  11. This looks great it terms of setting the wrist early. Will this impact the flow as we’re always told to have width in takeaway?

  12. Why do all of the YouTube university instructors always have "magic moves" or "secrets" that apparently no one else has found? Click bait. I'm not saying they're wrong about what they're about to tell us but nothing about the swing is magic so please find a new term to describe them. Beginners might actually believe it.

  13. Nick Faldo did the same thing and told others to do that for a perfect backswing

  14. Dont u have a lesson in the past telling us not to do the early set? These social media coaches are trash just like the rest of the tik tok idiots! Clicks for $ is all that matters… grrrrr!

  15. Always the best stuff. However, about 3 weeks ago I concentrated on keeping my trailing arm with the inside of my elbow facing straight out, in connected. Admittedly I am a senior golfer but after the round, and since, I have intense pain on the inside bottom of my elbow. Some would call it tennis elbow, again, on the inside not outside of the elbow. Pain aids aren't working and I wonder if I'll be recommended for surgery. So here's my recommendation for all aspiring golfers…don't get old.

  16. My 30 year old son came by recently and saw my golf bag. He was amazed that I was still using blades he said. I have Titleist DCI irons 3-pw that are probably at least 20 years old. Just started playing again after 15 years off. Ugraded all my woods to Mavricks which I like. Was thinking of getting Ping 430s. Any opinion?

  17. Almost no one uses early wrist set on the backswing nowadays and for good reason. I know it messed me up for 2 yrs. Went back to a wide, shallow move away from the ball and voila, pure strikes. Everyone can use different methods and this killed my game for 2 yrs. Wide, late wrist set, natural wrist bend and massive lag that happens more naturally when you're wide at the start and no early wrist set. All the best for those who can use this. But if you get off the rails don't waste 2 yrs like I did!

  18. I'm enjoying your videos Alex, simple explanation. Would this also work with driver, the early set wrists. Cheers😊

  19. What happened to the driver/club I won last week? Haven’t heard from you since you sent the email, “You won”. Is this a hoax?

  20. Joe Dante the best coach in the world wrote a book on this and his theory in the 60’s

  21. This setting of the wrists first then turning is something I accidentally fell upon at the driving range. I’ve found it a far more reliable way of getting in the correct position to hit my irons. Another great, simple tip from you that I know works.

  22. Used to play with an early set. Think I moved away from it because I tended to flare the club a little.

  23. I do this is real play. It’s not just a drill for me. It works brilliantly for me. May look a little unorthodox but doesn’t bother me one bit how it looks.

  24. Always LOVED Brian Harman's simple looking swing. I simplified my swing by thinking only about folding my elbow on the back swing then throwing the club out and to the right (I am right-handed). Of course, a proper set up is necessary… but Alex puts everything into terms we connect with. Keep 'em coming Alex!
