  1. The Golden Knights and Stoner are such good stories. It's great for the sport, great for the fans and the team and the players. When they got to the finals in year 1 I wasn't ready for them to win it, and I thought the Capitals were due. But this year they were the ones who deserved it.

  2. As a fan of the senators, I couldn't be happier for Stoner, such a great guy. Wish we still had him here.

  3. That's a mug , by far the hardest trophy to win in all sports. Next week, you will hear all the surgeries that the players will have to get done.

  4. What a great Winnipeg lad Stoner is! The cup may not have been won in Canada since 1993, but 75% of the Vegas team was Canadian, and most Stanley Cup winners are loaded with Canadians. Gotta have that passion to win the cup!!!! Cheers

  5. Remember when the thought of Vegas having its own professional team was unthinkable? People always considered Vegas as just a 'gambling' town. But they've had folks living there for many year and they're VERY excited about not just having a team to root for but one that's now won the STANLEY CUP. They're going to have some part in Vegas on the weekend. And the Golden Knights will always be an original Vegas-based team and that's what counts the most.

  6. Stoner is the fuckin man! This guy came back off a back injury just in time to make a run for the Cup and they brought it home!

  7. To the fans of the Golden Knights, thank you for embracing this team, and respecting the Stanley Cup for what is, the hardest trophy in sports to win. From a Montreal Canadiens fan!

  8. I'm in the minority here. I think Vegas winning sucks and it's a slap in the face to the league. Teams have had to struggle through decades of trying to build a cup contender. Years of heartache and disappointment with only the loyal fan base supporting them through those down years. Then in rolls Vegas going to the cup finals twice in their 6 year existence with a championship team they were gifted. The vegas fans don't know what it's like to be a true NHL fan. Someday, hopefully soon, they will know the struggles of building an actual team that can compete.

  9. Those who don’t live in Vegas might not fully understand how special them winning was for us. It’s the one major sports team we actually care about as a city. Many locals didn’t/ don’t want the Raiders, same with the A’s. But we all rally behind VGK

  10. I love how Vegas doesn't give a F what other teams think and just try to win. Go big or go home. Trading for Stoner was a great move. So was trading for Eichel and Barbie and signing Pietrangelo. Congrats Vegas! 👍
