Why The New York Yankees Are Pissing Me Off

Why The New York Yankees Are Pissing Me Off!
What happened to TRADITION!? What happened to the meaning of this uniform and the pinstripes? The aura, mystique and intimidation factor have disappeared. Hal Steinbrenner NEEDS to remember what this organization means to it’s fans, and SPORTS in general!

Baddog is a passionate fan who was born, and raised in the state of New York! I am A HUGE sports fan.
Baddog has a very strong, passionate, roller coaster ride of emotions personality which can sometimes lead to rant and rage videos, about his favorite teams, which many seem to enjoy. This channel is that of a fan, and nothing else.
My videos are done from that of my own perspective and views as a fan. I am a HUGE New York Yankees, New York Giants, & New York Knicks fan.
I do video, and live stream content covering The New York Yankees, New York Giants and Los Angeles Lakers, which has also lead to the nickname “LakerDog”.
You may ask yourself, “If Baddog is a Knicks fan, why does he do Los Angeles Laker content?”
The Reason for this is because I have a family, and because of my work, and gym schedule, streaming all of The Knicks games would be impossible, so I began covering The Lakers in late 2018, because most of their games are played at 9:00PM EST, or later.
Hopefully you guys & gals will find my content enjoyable and will continue to come back for future content!
If you do enjoy it, please make sure to subscribe to the channel, and click the bell for notifications. Also, please like, and share the channel if you would be so kind. Hope to see you on the channel!

  1. I am 27. I remember watching baseball with my grandfather and father when Andy Petit , Jeter, Posada , Bernie Williams . Even the era after with Cano, Mark textiera , CC, Arod. This era of Yankees is absolutely embarrassing . I live in FL and the Tampa bay rays fans here always have our number and talk so much crap it’s completely embarrassing

  2. i love your videos man and i love how you preach about the old school yankees. ive been a yankee fan since 1995 and let me tell you this team is atrocious a disgrace never in my life have i ever witnessed such a horrible yankee team ive seen and witnessed a yankee dynasty in the 90s thats long gone no one respects the yankees anymore

  3. With 2597 SO's Reggie Jackson has the most SO's in MLB history. He is followed by Jim Thome with 2,548, Adam Dunn with 2,379, Sammy Sosa with 2,306, and Alex Rodriguez with 2,287. Derek Jeter ranks 21st with 1,840.

  4. History of the Yankees, I think Don Mattingly. For his career I think that he stuck out 1 in every 13.2 AB's. During that same span players that went into the Hall of Fame SO between 7-9 AB's. During a 6-7 year span he was BY FAR the best player in the game. When the HOF first started all they had to go by was players stats when they retired. So they may say Mattingly didn't play long enough. If you put together Dale Murphy's best seasons and match it up to Don's who wins?

  5. Aaron Boone is a moron for putting Donaldson at cleanup and also needs to go.
    Hal is a complete moron!
    Cashman gotta go.

  6. Good summary Dog. This team is a joke and it comes from the top down. Bad ownership, bad management = bad team

  7. Players dont care anymore bc of Marvin Miller. He started the avalanche we call free agency. From there it's all about me me me.

  8. Although I'm not going to cheer for someone getting hurt, at least as Pete says "Shitty skunk mullet" going on the IL FINALLY got Oswald Peraza up in the big leagues. Today, another bad loss, I'm as pissed as everyone else but there are some good things happening. Of course the bad really outweighs the good though. Gleyber is on a 7 game hitting streak and is hitting over .400 in this 7u game hitting streak. Now if only Gleyber can do this for a long stretch but watch the idiot manager sit him against the Angels. Also Gerrit Cole's been pitching like an ace this year. At least that's happening but yeah with the stuck up idiot that Assman is and just the idiot that Boone is with Hal not giving a rat's ass the way his dad did, yeah this season has been hard to get through.

  9. Actually the Yankee Payroll is: Stanton (300 million plus), Judge (300 million plus), Cole (300 million plus) and Rodon (160 million plus). That is over ONE BILLION DOLLARS in salary!!!! Just four player contracts, where two of them can only play once every five games. The other two are constant members of the IL List. In a sport that fields nine positions and a bench too. In a League where Quality players are legally represented during contract talks and get their worth in payment. After those four contracts, Cashman (an IRONIC name) has nothing left to purchase quality players with. So only Head Cases (Red Necks & Spouse Abusers), Damaged Goods (Injured), Older and Over The Hill Players (In Decline) and Triple A Rejects are all he can purchase from. I even saw one Yankee player with a massive POT BELLY. I thought he was pregnant! But here's the DEAL. The Yankees, just like any other business entity exists to create a positive cash flow. And the Yankees are DEEP IN THE BLACK when it comes to accounting. They are a living and breathing CASH COW!!!! So MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. Cashman will NEVER be fired because if it ain't broke, don't fix it. If you listen to the Yankee radio broadcast, it is wall to wall advertisements! The Yankee Ad Department has a waiting list in years for advertisers wanting in to become sponsors. Not to mention the licensing agreements and plastered Logos all over the park. The Yankee Marketing plan is simple: Sign on as many LOSS LEADER Contracts as possible to SUCKER in fannies onto the seats. The PEON seats are just for cosmetic purposes. To make the stadium appear full. The REAL MONEY is made via the LUXURY BOXES. And all those have been SOLD OUT to major corporations for client entertainment. The original Stadium had been restored, but the selling model changed to a Luxury Seating model. So suddenly, during a Winter, part of Yankee Stadium collapsed? And so a new stadium was built to replace the original. With LESS seating, but a massive amount of Luxury Seating and Concessions. Do you get it? As for the Yankees exists every season with the goal to win a championship. Really, NOT since 2009, when the new stadium opened. The Yankees exist to make money every season. And when the Accounting Books close in the DEEP BLACK side of the ledger. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED as RAMBO would say!!!!
The Yankees can continue this charade because M.L.B. has seen the light and expanded the Playoff Team Rosters. Following what the N.B.A., N.H.L. and N.F.L. has done. But it’s a double edged sword, because when you make the post season, you do NOT get Quality Draft picks to rebuild a team. So the Yankees are stuck in Mediocre Ville Purgatory. To rebuild, the Yankees must TANK out of post season contention and start collecting Quality Draft picks to develop. They must STOP acquiring LOSS LEADER Contracts. And with the money saved, invest it instead to paying Coaches, Scouts, REAL SCIENCE BASED Strength and Conditioning (NOT BRO SCIENCE) and in a total commitment to Player Development. That means NO POST SEASON AND 100 LOSS SEASONS. But so what, when the long term goal is accomplished. And you reap the rewards later on with Home Grown Talent. I remember well the Dallas Green, Bucky Dent and Stump Merrill years. Then Gene Michael and Bob Watson held on to Bernie Williams (considered a Bust) and Mariano Rivera (a Failed Starter) and the rest became the Yankee 1990’s and early 2000’s dynasty team. Built by the Yankee Farm that was headed by the FAILED Yankee manager Stump Merrill. That’s how you win with INCLUSION and DIVERSITY!!! A REAL commitment towards winning and NOT SUCKERING your fanbase. Just take your LUMPS, then WIN on the long run.
As for the current Hitting Coaches Merry Go Round. Nothing will be altered until the Yankees THROW OUT this love affair with LAUNCH ANGLE. And start to follow the Ted Williams Credo that it's a ROUND BALL and a ROUND BAT. That has to be hit SQUARELY!!!! It means to make constant clean contact (line drives) and NOT worry about leaving the yard.

  10. Hitting 147 oh yea great at bats boone lol. Its why theres no fight in this team. No mental toughness

  11. What happened to the New York Yankees and it's tradition? Hal Steinbrenner!!! The Yankees will never win another championship because Hal is clueless!

  12. Wonder how you’re feeling after todays pathetic loss. I’m about done watching this team this year. I’m sure you are feeling the same.

  13. The Yankees are going to have a GREAT second half; going to finish with at LEAST 90 wins and everything is going to be ok…

  14. Question here? Are Yankees buyers here? One thing they need is a .330 hitter. LeMahieu is not cutting it. Rizzo no homers in 40 plus games. Stanton a .200 hitter. Judge is so needed back. or are they sellers? who wants what they have?

  15. George died. 🙁 The youngin had no idea, so leaned on Cashmen. Nuf said.

  16. The greatest sports franchise in all of sports history ……….is at a turning point. Whose name will be associated with the failure the most ? Boone, Cashman……Steinbrenner? I've been a Yankee fan through good times and bad since 1957. I've seen it all ! But I've never seen such a mess that we have now……..Fans should take a stand ! STAY OUT OF YANKEE STADIUM UNTIL STEINBRENNER WAKES UP !!!!

  17. As someone who is not a Yankees fan I totally agree with what he is saying, even when they didn’t win the World Series that team, that old Yankees stadium struck fear in all our hearts. They play uninspired and that’s the biggest problem for this team, you can’t blame Yankees fans for expecting them to win, the payroll is huge, they should expect much more from that team. Nobody is taking accountability of their play, of the season, the Yankees organization is like a drug addict, in denial about what they are and even worst refuse to get help. That third baseman should have been gone after last year disaster, instead he was given another chance to destroy the team again and guess what he did, this idiot hits a homer and poses like a Greek god, are you kidding me???? Bro you are hitting.149 you should sprint around the bases thanking god, instead you pose like you are ohtani, embarrassing!!!!! But blame cashman and the owner, they didn’t not take charge of the situation and rather let it get worse, cashman should have been fired and boone, they ran the same roster back and got even worse results so they clearly showed they can’t be trusted to run a top level team and yet they have the keys. My question is who are the Yankees loyal to??? Is it the fans or cashman and boone???? It’s looking like a shitshow at this point and I think the team is to deep in there incompetent decision making to make a real run.

  18. I gotta admit, I enjoy watching Boone troll the media with those answers. Make no mistake, he's trolling.

  19. A simple rule of signing players: If you have gray hair, you don't get signed. The injury report is a nightly post game subject.

  20. I’m a Cubs fan and the fact that we won 2 out of 3 at Yankee stadium is wild. This team has zero winning attitude. It wouldn’t surprise if they barely make the wild card and I can’t believe this is the Yankees I’m talking about

  21. The Yankees would rather have you hit a line drive right at a defender than hit a bloop single

  22. Your comments are the best I've heard in a long, long time. I have been a Yankee fan since 1952, when my father said he thought they were "the best." I have always rooted for them for that very reason: they were the Best. Other kids rooted for local teams, which I could not understand, since those teams were not nearly as good as the Yankees. And that's the point: The Yankees were the best in every conceivable way. They had the Tradition that other teams could only dream about. But as other comments have shown (below), those of us who are old enough to have seen Mickey and Yogi in person realize that this "Yankee" team is a pale imitation of real Yankee squads. CBS bought the Yankees a few decades ago, and that sale presaged the downfall of the Dynasty. The Yankees, and baseball in general, were no longer above the concerns of daily life (making money especially). It used to be that baseball was more than a sport. From Spring Training to the World Series, it gave us something to think about and to love that meant more than football, basketball, and a long range of pseudo-sports could ever hope to mean. But now, baseball has sold out to the interests of business-people. Its intrinsic and ultimate meaning is lost in the shuffle to sell tickets and gain television sponsors. Analytics is the name of the game, and their have brought huge success. I don't mean the analytics applied to the game: I mean the analytics that Hal and Cash love to pursue: the analytics of the economy and the analytics of their bank accounts. Thanks again, Baddog. You have correctly analyzed the demise of the Yankees, a downfall that will almost certainly continue as our larger society surrenders its best qualities and sells out to the Chinese and other dangerous people who recognize that we are doomed.

  23. Truth: “Wait until Hal realizes he can do just as poorly with a team of nobodies for $90 million.”

  24. They need to clean house get the over paid players out of here plus the manager and general manager they need players who want to win
