  1. I never understood the hype around him. I think he is so mid. Mid 2C

  2. I hope PLD turns a new leaf for LA because that’s my team. I definitely am a little nervous to be sure but I feel like I’ll be happy come September.

  3. Will be funny if LA opts to rebuild in the next couple years. Guy is gonna want out again.

  4. He might demand a trade to Montreal?
Bahahahahaha no way Montreal takes him now.
He just used his last get out of jail free card😂

  5. Over/under 4 years PLD lasts in LA. He always starts strong in new environments, says all the right things. Then, he goes all Miley Cyrus and comes in like a wrecking ball.

  6. everybody laughed at WPG and how they were ganna get fleeced by montreal….well guess what. montreal played hardball and lost their french canadian star.

  7. As an LA fan I feel like I gotta go with him now even if he's had a rocky relationship with teams in the past. I just wanna say that he's done something different with the Kings signing long term which I think is really promising. I also believe he has some room for growth and can develop even further from where he is right now.

  8. So it's known that Dubois had a fued with player leadership in Columbus like Jones and Atkinson (and him having a beef with the assistant captains drew Tortorella's ire), and I always assumed that's what made him want to leave there.

But in this interview it sounds like Dubois just was like "meh, don't want to be here anymore" and now I think him wanting out is what caused the fued with those players.

  9. 30 min from his nice house will be something different, like crime, murders, drug in the open and massive homeless encampments.
He is a head case and he will do the same to LA.

  10. As a Jets and CBJ fan (my 2 favorite teams), it's not fun. This giant arse whiny baby has now done this 3 times. Teams draft or trade for him, but it's not the team he wants, so he half arses it until he makes enough noise and gets traded… again. I like LAK. They had a very good team last year. Giving up Vilardi, Iafallo and Kupari and a 2nd is a lot to give up for a guy who literally.. half arses it. He plays when he wants and doesn't when he doesn't want to. The minute he's not happy about how the team is playing, his ice time or who knows what, he stops playing and demands a trade. There is something just not right about him. Honestly, the league should have stepped in and said, "ENOUGH little boy, you can't keep acting like this." Players have to negotiate for NMC's and/or limit what teams they can be traded to. They have to earn that. He hasn't. He's not eve a PPG player. He's acting like he has points and skills like McD or Mac or Mak. He doesn't. I honestly wanted NO team to want his services and MTL signs him for $1. MTL says, "Okay boy, you want to play here, you got your wish. But we ain't paying you what you think. Here's your $1 for 1 year. We will pay you more as you show/give/perform. Keep signing him to 1 year contracts for a bit more each year. This is something that should have happened. Bettman, WPG and MTL should have chatted about this and basically Bettman should have told the league that Dubois is off limits and we have a deal in place for him and it's the only one he gets in the NHL. No more whiny brats telling teams and the league what they will and won't do. For LAK's sake, it would be good if he plays well and is happy there, but since I'm a betting man, I'm quite certain this giant arse baby isn't done being a giant arse baby and I would put money on it.
