In howe we trust, he soaked up the pressure when he first came in, dragged us out of certain relegation. I think getting through CL group stage would be great but the league and top 4 has to take priority again this season over every other game. HWTL
To sack Howe for whatever reason, would be punishing him for the amazing work last season. No newcastle fan would accept this and nothing from the owners suggest that they will do this either. Howe is an absolutely brilliant manager.
Id be happy with a very similar season to be honest. To get through the group stage of the CL would be amazing aswell
Its quite funny comimg from Rory, that Haaland is goimg to have a regular season..
In Eddie Howe we believe ……………….. all we expect is to be competitive .
Quality tonali – Made Milan tick. Assists, dead ball, fast, Retention. But. Attacking mid or wing forward badly needed & no, Gordan wonβt do as maximin replacement. Need more depth to attack. Also back up defender like Schuurs.
Teams have proper strengthened this summer already and we only in start July. Much more competitive in our own league let alone depth for Europe.
Patience, but need to get on with it. Too slow in reacting when in talks with someone. Lost out on szoboszlai, was same with Gakpo last year, possibly lost out on Veiga, Wahi, B.Diallo and moussa diaby, got tonali instead of barella, not too many more like that about! Maybe we can land chukweze (villreal) instead. Somebody!

natural progression would be consolidating top 6 and breaking up the corrupt big 6 cartel. Once you're established in the top echelon, our commercial strength will be able to match the other clubs and FFP will be less of a restriction.
I've got a bet on with a family member who has said Eddie won't be at Newcastle in 2025. They also said he's not capable of enticing top players to come to Newcastle. I loved it when Eddie came in, he's a young manager and I'm so glad the owners have given him their full support. It's finally exciting to be a Newcastle United fan
Nonsense Rory the pressure of having to win a league is good pressure the pressure of if you don't win enough games the couple go bankrupt in your first season as a manager is much harder to deal with you got people's jobs your own career on the line. That's pressure

Yeah, i think Eddie Howe will get sacked before the end of the year. We need a higher calibre manager in order to attract the elite players. Got to question his management of the squad. He has 9 left wingers and plays a centre back at left back. Surely we should be signing two quality left backs and not left wingers.

There's a very good reason the coaching team behind Eddie Howe is so big and experienced – to advise, assist and protect from the pressures. Tindall in particular, Graeme Jones and the rest.
This pressure talk will keep coming up again and again, all us geordies want good football with competitive runs in all comps, obviously trophies are the aim but I don't think there's any pressure, we want the players to love being here and play at there best instead of the likes of man u etc where the constant pressure makes good players not perform,

The journey he has us on along with the owner's is still like a dream to me, Rome wasn't built in a day and I am loving the ride, The Sleeping Giant is starting to wake up and great time's ahead. Toon Toon, Howe's Black & White Army
All the expectation around Newcastle is coming from fans outside the club.. most of our own fans are hopeful but not expectant. And realistically were still at least a decade behind Man city, they have been building for years so lets not get ahead of ourselves.
Of course we could always do a Leicester and get lucky and everything go right for a season, but realistically we have a long way to go to be consistent challengers.
NEWCASTLE UNITED WILL 100PERCENT DO BETTER THIS SEASON…..WE AIMING FOR TOP FOUR….WE GONNA MAKE SOME GOOD TRANSFER BUISNESS AND WILL BE STRONGER THIS SEASON….reason for why I think this….Newcastle are on the rise as you can see since the takeover……other teams from the top 6 are struggling to stay in the top 6….so teams like Tottenham,Chelsea and Liverpool have issues that need mending….while we just add to the team that's been performing since the takeover….not saying Chelsea, Tottenham or Liverpool won't bounce bk….just saying as things stand we are playing the better football…..And we will want to take advantage of this situation hence the extra budget
Pressure too much for Eddie Howe? Iβd say the pressure is on Liverpool / Spurs / Chelsea because if they donβt finish top 4 again they will have major financial issues moving forward.
Newcastle by their own admission are ahead of schedule so even if they finished 5 or 6th it would be another good season of cementing themselves in amongst the top teams.
Newcastle will capitulate massively this coming season, fact!! YNWA!!
