Unfortunately, due to copyright, a good portion at the end of the video is going to be cut out. I am not happy about it but it is what has to happen. I hope you all understand and I will make a part 2 to make up for it. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Lomu suffered from chronic kidney desease which eventually killed him. At the time he was playing he was appearing at roughly 80%
Jonah Lomu … 6'5"" , 265lb's and ran the 100m's in 10 secs
Jonah Lomu suffered with kidney disease for all his professional career , between games he was on Kidney dialysis
I think lomu would have had it very tough now against etzebeth and the two pillars of BAKKIES AND VICTOR.
Congrats on the 1k and many more to come
The guy was a Freak sadly there is no one in rugby can never peplicate him rip mate
If you had to tackle Jonah you had to say a prayer beforehand
Hi, Rugby League, just as good. Wednesday night 730pm AEST. State of Origin game 3/3. Played every year during the football season. Good to watch … Enjoy if you get to see it
LOMU pronounced LAW MOO
I thought you were gonna watch his "Lord of the wings" highlight video. It's the best one out.
They even named a stadium after him in New Zealand .
Unbelievable power, speed and balance wrapped in a 6'5", 275 lb behemoth
Great reaction, Try reacting to the the other GOAT, Brian o driscoll
Lomu was a phenomenon. Hand in hand with Lomu – you should watch some of my favourite player who was Full Back (# 15) for a lot of Lomu's AB, Wellington, and Hurricanes games – Christian Cullen. Was the ultimate finisher at the time, and was highest scoring AB ever for a while. Don't even know if there is a Christian Cullen compilation out there. Not the awesome power of Lomu, but had silky smooth running skills and could find a gap like no other. Also very strong on defense.
South Africa sorted him out in 1995 world cup 👊💪
That was a good reaction, Rugby League isn't just about the big hits there is also a lot of skill. Can you do a reaction to Shaun Johnson The Lightning Footwork Warriors he plays NRL and is known for his side stepping (jukes) he played for the New Zealand team the Warriors here is a link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o9d_d_FbKGU&t=5s you will like this as he is also a playmaker and kicker, has the highest points for New Zealand in international games and also Warriors highest point scorer, enjoy.
What an extraordinary athlete. So sad he died so young.
Nobody mentioned.. He was hospitalized at one point and the doctors said he would NEVER walk again. 7-8 months later, he was representing his country again. For the vast majority of his professional career he was playing at I reckon about 70-80% of his full potential considering the severe health difficulties.
He was my idol, and when I heard of his passing I raged at my friend who told me because back then there was always a rumor of someone famous dying. Got home from rugby training to find out it's actually true. After that I always wore his number, and tried to play my best in his honor. His physical and mental strength that he showed the world helped me find my own through my difficult times.
The Cowboys tried to sign him back in 95… turned it down to stay with the ALL BLACKS
