  1. It’s a stupid rule to begin with. Harry Diamond is not swinging the club, Rory is. Why is this a freaking penalty to begin with? So what if a Caddie stands behind his player and whispers nothings in his ear? ….and I don’t even like Rory.

  2. Complete rubbish, how many players take their stance on the green and then walk away and readjust.

  3. If it’s Patrick Reed ban him! But that’s him trying to find a stance first, by the time rory takes his actually stance to play shot caddy is gone.

  4. No where does the rules say you have to deliberately break the rule. I have had a couple of time during tournament play where I was mentally so into the shot that a rule infraction happened and I didn't even notice it untill after the shot or it was pointed out to me. Once you start to enter the bunker the caddy moves off the line and does not return to the line unless you back away from the shot. It's a rules infraction, intended or not.

  5. Give me a break. This is exactly why many people laugh at the sport of golf. There are so many "rules" like this that don't even affect the outcome of a shot. Let's play golf and quit analyzing things like this.

  6. Call the R&A maybe they have audio of Harry telling him to aim a little left or right. That is if you could distract them from watching the the drone and satellite footage of P Reed's round!

  7. Rory's line wasn't at the flag it was to the left, caddie was behind left of him. If his line was at the flag then yes a penalty should have been accessed.

  8. Rory is an overly entitled douche and deserves a penalty if not a DQ for signing an improperly scored card.

  9. Seems like kind of a petty rule but it's in the books and it seems like the caddy walks to the side out of line of the shot but it also seems like Rory always gets the benefit of doubt.

  10. Aaaaaaaaannnd this is another example of why some think that RNA and PGA can go and F@@@ themselves.

  11. This is another Brooks and Patrick indicating 5 fingers. If that's not braking rules, then No rules broken by Rory.

  12. Golf is a gentleman's game. The golf rules originally were written to avoid arguments between gentlemen. That is why you are expected to call a penalty on yourself if there is even the slightest doubt.
