Release the driver from the top, yes, best tip i ever got, it added 25-30 yards to my drives, with a slight draw, i feel palm facing the sky after impact
Please help the guy behind and closest to you on the range .Couldn't stop watching his swing !! 🏴
6 minutes felt like an hour. Way too much talking for 60 seconds of tips. Sorry coach.
What you're demonstrating is not lag. You're letting your lead arm break down at the top. I suspect what you mean is that in take-away you should only go as far as you can turn (i.e. no lead arm break-down).
Your drive into the woods we've all been there, great tip and video Todd, watching from Alberta Canada, Let's Go!!!!
Your videos come right on time I struggle with my driver last time out this tip should help I hope. Thanks
From Jacksonville Florida.
I've hit that same shot (3:20 mark)as a lefty just the opposite direction. Great video, this will improve my lag. Thank you
Great video Todd on explaining lag and how it SHOULD be used! I really liked your use of the thumbs "pointing to the sky," which I try to do! In watching your video of how to best generate club head speed, it appeared that your hands never got passed the inside of your left thigh at impact. This is also something I try to do! Good Job Todd!
Ahhh…I often wondered the affect of the lag I noted in my swing.. I sometimes hit it far right as you did in the video… Thanks!!!!!!!!
Love this demo and tip! When I hit it right, you showed me exactly what I did wrong. Thanks!
Home of golf Scotland. Good lesson buddy
Good morning from an “experienced” and frustrated golfer in Ohio. Great tip and it makes a lot of sense. I have been trying to add more lag and my swing is falling apart definitely going to try this.
Hi Todd, you’ve got me hitting my 11 degree driver straight but I still hit it too high even though it’s coming out of the middle. I’m losing distance because there’s no roll, what do you recommend?
I’m a 78 year old ex 6 hcp. from England now playing off 23.
Really like your videos.
Nick
Great tip and the video is nicely done, thanks from Chokoloskee FL!
My issue with lag is releasing it at the proper time, usually too early which causes me to hit fat shots with every club.
This is what I was doing but my balls tend to go left and sometimes fat. Will try this great tip.
