There are many requirements to a great golf game and to me none more important than putting, and for us amateurs 3 and 4 putts will ruin a good game. But of course it’s easier said than done becoming a stellar putter..👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
That big backswing with her putter unfortunately allows more of a chance for your clubhead to move off plane and that’s not good….✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼
Would you really suggest playing a flop shot 40 feet from the pin, with smooth turf I’d rather hit it low and let it roll…of course I’m talking about a high handicapper…👍🏼👍🏼
But why not try to improve her putting game, even you had to see her massive problem Peter…just a couple quick things to try on the green would have at least gave her an opportunity to try to improve, it damn sure couldn’t have hurt….
That was actually a smart play to pitch the ball to the left of the flag rather than going over the bunker at the flag…the intimidation of that bunker would have probably made her miss hit it right in the bunker…
It’s surprising how many younger golfers don’t wear golf shoes these days, I wouldn’t be able to keep my feet planted thruout the shot without some kind of spikes…👍🏼👍🏼
Is she playing with blades? Wouldn't cavity backs be better at this stage of her game?
Get rid of the 4 and 3 putts and she would’ve been close to breaking 80! Beautiful girl too

i have wathed mia for a while, i do thing her concentration is not great, while been fantastic at driving her layup shot are not great so should work on them, also putting from about 10-15 feet is a little allover the place, sometimes great, sometimes rubbish
she gets her putter worked out and take her time she will be amazing golfer
She'll be ready to join the LPGA in no time.

Great caddying Peter! She lost so many strokes on putting. Too big backswing to control club face and speed. Shorter backswing and controlling distance and Mia will break 80 easily! 👍🏼❤️
Mia is a really good player, I hate to say it, but some of your caddy tips weren't the best, like putting over a bunch of rough uphill. All due respect, though, you are a much better golfer than I am, but I would have 6 ironed that as an easy bump and run all day long. Keep up the good content Peter.
She's absolutely amazing for only 18 months. The women in the LPGA should consider themselves lucky that Mia didn't start golf at a young age.

on the hole where he suggested the putter as opposed to her visualisation of hitting a high flopshot to the green , he should of let her go with her choice, remember a caddys choice is just a 2nd opinion , at the end of the day the golfers choice is final.

I've watched Mia play lots of golf. She has serious talent, but lacks confidence in her abilities. Her expectations are that every shot has to be perfect. I think like almost all amatuer golfers and even professionals the mental game is the hardest part of golf.
Mia may not have realized what you were doing but I loved how you took her stress away by joking about the Volvo you pointed out as a target. So no stress on the shot. Good Caddie!!!

I can relate. I shot no better than 90-92 for my first 1.5 years. Now I’m almost at single digits 8 months later. Golf is a long game sport. All about the journey 😀
