Damn itβs kinda sucks cause I think he see the writing on the wall π. Iβd like the team to use the pick and draft and build to try to win in 2 seasons or so. Or maybe just trade Dame and build around Ant Sharpe the top 7 pick and the assets from the Dame deal.

The Blazers canβt trade Sharpe. Period. His all-around potential is too great.
Anfernee seems most likely to be traded but doing so would still feel bad. Anfernee is a great guy and still has a lot of potential + is on a path to being an All-StarβI just canβt see it working as well next to Dame (similar to CJ) if his defense is only slightly better than Dameβs poor defense.
In terms of starters, Dame at PG and Sharpe at SG just makes the clearest sense overall. The duoβs potential is very high.

Without Wemby and with the present βNo Taxβ ownership, this team with or without Ant or Grant or Sharpe wonβt get good enough to beat the contenders with the great front courts. So the team should end its βWin Nowβ mantra, be patient with what it has and acquire talent through the draft, and in three years, get a ring for Dame through Ant, Sharpe and future drafted talent.
Cleveland has a starting lineup that includes includes 6'2" Donovan Mitchell, 6'2" Darius Garland, and 6'6" Caris Levert.
The Cavaliers defensive rating is at or near the top.
Lillard, Sharpe, and Simons can play together just fine.
The power forward position is a much bigger problem defensively for the Trail Blazers.
All the jerks that demanded CJ to be traded so we could start ant are now saying we should trade ant so we can start sharpe. I love sharpe and think heβs a future star. Itβs not like Ant had a bad season as a 23 year old. I can see this young guy breaking out and becoming a larger trade asset. I also donβt like fans showing the disrespect to our players.
We will regret trading this guy. I love both Shaedon and him, Shaedon a bit more but itβs gonna be the same thing with Shaedon next year if he starts at the 2 and Ant is traded. In these last few games Shaedon had the ball in his hands and he was great just like Ant at the end of last year. If Shaedon is the 2 next season he will also struggle to adjust playin so many mins next to a ball-dominant guard like Dame

It's Time to move on from Dame. It's clear that the Blazers are in rebuilding mode & it's time to let Simons be the primary playmaker. Dame needs to go to a team that can compete for championships
If we keep Anfernee his role as a 6th man would be nice bc weβre missing a leader off the bench
