  1. Haha Tampons.
Adams a massive buzz kill. Every single time. 'lindholms holding them up' clueless.

  2. I’m a Pens fan and Jarry dose worry me but who are they supposed to get? Graves is a good signing if the cap goes up.

  3. your crazy!, the Tyler Toffoli trade was not that bad, he is old and slow and not as good as his numbers last year. I'm glad he is gone, the new guy will get about the same points and is faster and younger

  4. Only time will tell but right now July 6 2023 I think Adam's Penguins take is one of his all time dumbest. We shall see.

  5. We get it guy in the orange, you don't like Dubas because he left the Leafs.

  6. Adam what are the Leafs? They are running it back while changing small things. Bunting > Bertuzzi, O’Reilly >>>>>> Domi, Acciari >>>>> Reaves, and Schenn > Klingberg defensively. The Leafs have gotten significantly worse… you think “snarl” will win a series for you but that HAS to come from your big guys which they DO NOT have.

  7. Comparing others to Michael Bunting. As much as I like him, the reason he came off two 60 point seasons was because he was mainly playing with Matthews and Marner. I doubt he’ll maintain those numbers, although I hope he proves me wrong. I really like the guy and wish he’d stayed with the Leafs.

  8. If cole Caufiled gets basically $8 million a year based off “potential” and that’s what it is his stat line as it sits right now, ISNT a $8 million a year player…..as it sits now…he could end up injury prone and not live up to that potential. Then a big bodied Jeanot could see $4mill a year.

  9. I say more, in a comment I made on the video "Which NHL Team Won Free Agency? | SDP," why I considered the Canucks and Jets, among Canadian NHL teams, as winners of the 9-day period ending Monday Eastern Time. I will now turn to a bit after the 6:30 mark of the video about free agency losers, with a claim made by Steve of the Flames' having been losers. He sure isn't alone, with Jess Belmosto, on the Monday ET edition of the Locked On Flames' podcast (titled "The Calgary Flames Move on From Matthew Phillips"), having claimed free agency hadn't for the Flames been a priority. With Yegor Sharangovich from the Devils the most prominent acquisition, and the only one with a per-season cap hit of @ least US$1 million among 6 players signed or re-signed, how can I say this offseason so far has been anything but a failure for the Flames? How many draftees the Flames last week selected turn out to be hits is TBD although their top 4 draftees played the 2022-23 North-American hockey season with various Canadian major-junior teams.

  10. What a wierd pod. Adam goes from the smartest about jeannot to the dumbest take on the penguins. And steve just wishes his teams division rivals torpedo themselves ala using canucks cap management strategies

  11. Ryan graves is a top 4 dman he’s consistently played at that role since 19-20 idk how they say graves hasnt and 4.5 million is the bee 3.5 for top 4 dmen

  12. Jeannot will get a bridge deal just like all RFA's in Tampa. 2.5 for two years. Also, remember when everyone said they overpaid for Brandon Hagel because of how bad he played after the trade in 2022. He is now a Brayden Point lite for 1.5 Million this year. Evolving Hockey has him projected in arbitration to earn a two-year contract worth $2.1 million and that's probably somewhere around where Jeannot and his agent are at.

  13. Disagree about Pittsburgh being a loser in the free agency. Did they overpay jarry? Yes but as pretty much every comment said, there weren’t a lot of options. There could still be moves made. With Ned coming in it could mean DeSmith is out. I don’t know what the return is for that but I would hope it would be pretty decent. Would’ve loved if they tried to deal for John Gibson, but yeah jarry probably was the best option.

  14. Yeah, Pitt didn’t do much.. but how can they.. Sid, Letang and Malkin all have big cap hits, it’s hard to build around those guys who are, like it or not, losing a step on their prime.. that was 15 years ago… this was also not a very deep pool of UFA’s and the few quality one’s want more than you have the cap space for.. I’d love to know what Adam thinks they could have done short of tearing it down and that would take a few years… a deeper pool would have helped.. but it wasn’t there.

  15. Guentzel-Crosby-Rakell
    Nylander-Malkin-Smith
    DOC-Granlund-Rust
    Nieto-Eller-Acciari

    Pettersson-Letang
    Graves-Petry
    POJ-Rutta

    Jarry
    Nedeljkovic

That’s a playoff caliber roster that could easily free up 8M in cap if Carter agrees to a trade bc he realizes he’s not gonna play or if they decide to trade Granlund’s 5M

  16. adam. That's music to my ears. Been beating that damned drum since 2018. Dubas panders to the stars, fills out the team with cheap fluff and signs below par to bad goalies.

proof is there for each one of these points.

    Pens going nowhere.

  17. Ripping on the lightning when the leafs are over the cap and don't even have a goalie

  18. Nobody seems to think this but I really think the Mac Truck trade was light on purpose and the make good trade was the Jeannot trade.

  19. Lightning did fine. Losing Colton hurts but adding Sheary is the oerfect fit on the 2nd line.

Lightning now have 3 strong likes and theyre faster which was their downfall last year.

    Stamkos – Point – Kucherov
    Hagel – Cirelli – Sheary
    Eyssimont – Paul – Jeannot

    Thats a strong top 9.
