  1. It’s a narrative that follows them and the fact that they went to the wrong teams throughout their careers and had coaches who tried to change their game instead of finding the teams, players and coaches that would compliment their game. It’s that simple! Melo should have NEVER went to the Thunder, Rockets or Blazers. They tried to make him a spot up 3 point shooter and he wasn’t. Cousins they tried to make a pick and roll guy… he’s not. Howard’s been black balled since Kobe ran him into the ground. He’s never been a all around dominant minded player with that type of mentality. Howard should be on golden state right now bringing a defensive presence in the interior.

  2. Dwight is washed
    Boogie been washed
    And Melo is washed too
    That's why……..

  3. That's why they aren't in the league anymore, uncoachable, they wanted to be starter or main pieces. Like AI in the late 2010, the guy played badly and still wanted to start, even in Turkish basketball, he wasn't good enough.
Basketball is a team sport, Jordan, Kobe, Bird, Magic, all the greats understand that. But those guys, Howard, Melo, Cousins, AI etc.. they want the shine more than the team accomplishment.

  4. Bc they aren’t what they used to be and guys that will listen and play within the team are cheaper and can contribute the same

  5. Too much ego ,and not accepting changed role. Funny kg asking this bc he adapted the way he plays to win the chip in hoston

  6. You wanna do whatever you want on the court?…Your name better be Jordan, Bird, Russell, ect. If you are anything less, it ain't gonna happen.

  7. Are they coachable?
Are they still determined to try to do what they could do 10 years ago?

  8. I love how he’s like “I’m not coachable either” 😂

  9. The league changed and they did not adapt so they are detrimental to the team except Cousins, who never fully recovered to be as effective as he was before the injury. All he has to do is accept that he is the backup, Jordan did so and got a ring.

  10. They aren’t in the league because they aren’t switchable and struggle guarding perimeter players, and their scoring can’t make up for their liabilities on defense anymore. While they are still great players, the game has changed so much to the point that their game has been made obsolete. Which hurts to say because Melo is my all time favorite player.

  11. OR they’re not quality nba players anymore. Shit ain’t always about the man trying to bring you down lmao when those players were elite and even good, they always had a spot in the nba. Stephen Jackson loves to do that shit. Those dudes aren’t good players anymore, that’s life

  12. It's amazing seeing all you Brothers with this slave mentality…….."Don't upset Massa, he won't let us play the Basketball no mo!!!!!" FOH! Let's not forget the Players are why fans come to games, the owners don't sell tickets, they collect off of the players Blood, Sweat and Tears! No your fucking worth and people would stop treating you like you're worthless!

  13. that's a nice way of saying "because they're egotistical and need to be the best on the court even if it means lowering the level of competition"

  14. This is why Stephen Jackson is one of the worst commentators for the NBA….. Carmelo always got his way, that's why he wasn't successful in New York, that's why the big 3 in OKC was garbage, that's why he was ineffective overall.

  15. It's still plenty of Vets in the league. But not everybody will make it. It is what it is. They average age of an NBA player is always about 27. A vet is anybody over 10 years.

  16. Boogie not being in the league is somewhat understandable being past his prime plus I think he had some dv allegations… but Melo and dwight make no sense Melo can still get 15 easy dwight can definitely still get 8&8 and block a shot or two plus both men's experience

  17. Some of you in the comments are too young to understand what kg is saying yeah dwight and Melo do things they're own way but it's not like they'd show up to a young team and demand the ball every pos or refuse coaching both have excepted different rules for a few years now compared to they're prime
