This may be the best lesson for you!
Late Moe Norman ❤ said, when i go back, i go forward. The same as in the video at 7:30 🏌♂👍
Some different ideas will try this, thanks
Eric has recently done the Swing Hard Stop Quick video (as a great refresher of the Rob Cheney video which was where I first saw it, some years ago) – one of the best drills IMO.
I like the video but it’s funny the video advertised 180 yard 7 iron but you had a six iron in your hand
Not actually possible to hit ball with NO backswing!
Andy, were you going to post Eric's video?
An interesting lesson tip. It does make sense. I had hear of Eric, he has good ideas. He's a USA coach. Thanks, good job presenting the idea. As an older golfer now (67) always on the hunt for things that can bring back some distance.
I can’t stand watching or listening to Eric. He dissects everything so much he makes everything too complicated and gives you too many swing thoughts. I will take your simple interpretation of what he says any day of the year! Great job explaining and showing this! 😊
Going to give this one a try.
Eric Cogorno is one of the best instructors out there!
Exelente entrenamiento
Pure Tom Saguto, the best teacher on the net.
Ladies tees ?
Good-bye golf and good riddance. Partnering with LIV is your kiss off from us.
Great video Andy! Made me jump up grab my 7 and go out in the yard a do some practice swings!
Big deal, my son-in-law hits his 7 iron 220 yards and very accurately! It’s sickening!!!😵💫
Does this work with hybrids, woods and driver too ?
hands at contact should be middle of the left leg. This lowers the loft by 5 degrees. That's the only reason why. many call this compression but really it's just lowering the club loft.
Farther not further
Where Eric and most instructors are pulling their sequencing advice from is a professor of biomechanics named Dr. Kwon. He's worked with a lot of LPGA and Long Drive Tour players. Andy just search "Dr. Kwon rope drills" on YouTube. His videos aren't the most entertaining to watch but they're game changing. He uses a simple section of rope to teach the perfect weight shift and swing sequence.
non golf question – where did you get your trousers? great channel btw
Without proper stance all the power you apply will hurt you and not help at all.
Lower back and your hip
You have to know how to use your mid section of the body to generate power. 😂
Fast and furious is all in this part of your body.
I have limited flexability on the backswing. When I focus on shortening the backswing.. just past grnd ParalleI….i always get crisper strikes, distance and direction
Eric Cogorno
I saw that video of Eric's a few weeks ago. He's got a lot of other good videos and does a very good job of explaining what he's teaching.
