Henrik Stenson gives (VERY) fierce LIV Golf defence in FIGHTING TALK ahead of The Open!

Go on Henrik Stenson!!! He has just given a very fierce liv golf defence that you have to listen to! This is real fighting talk ahead of the 151st Open! This fierce message is on behalf of all of the other liv golfers ahead of the open in my opinion! Who are your top picks for the open and who do you think will win the open? Let me know!

Henrik Stenson’s record over two Opens at this venue is uninspiring by his standards… a tie for 48th and a share of 39th but can he change this? He still looks back at Royal Troon and his battle with Phil Mickelson of seven years ago! We all remember that don’t we.

Henrik Stenson gives (VERY) fierce LIV Golf defence in FIGHTING TALK ahead of The Open!

There has been a lot of talk about the liv golfers, liv golf, liv golf tour, pga tour, liv golf merger, pga liv merger, liv golfers, pga tour players, the open winner, who will win the open, who will play the open and so much more!

This is huge breaking golf news and huge golf news!

  1. Henrik S says exactly what everyone thinks,If they are honest. That’s everyone except Rory and Juston T

LIV should just tell the PGA to F Off. They don’t need the PGA.

  2. Looks like all the LIV players made the right choice as they could be back on the PGA/DP Tour next year.

  3. Cameron Smith was imperious at Centurion – I think we will have another Major withered the relatively few LIV players competing will litter the top 16

  4. they made the right choice for them, nothing wrong in that, but the PGA and other PGA players made a thing out of it. I hope a Liv golfer win, im pulling for Dustin

  5. Very interesting discussion. MONEY, YES. MONEY, YES. MONEY YES!!!

Who is happiest right now? The LIV Players. Why? Because they now know that LIV has a future, the premium players ALREADY got more MONEY on CONTRACTS, they play fewer tournaments, AND, they can win more boatloads of MONEY every time they play, AND they are having more fun with everything surrounding the team concept!

Why are the PGAT players so unhappy? Because they didn't take the flyer and join LIV, didn't get the MONEY, got diddled by their leadership, divided the PGAT into haves and have-nots, force top players to work like Trojans, and, still have no contracts and financial security like the LIV players.

BTW, nobody mentions the caddies in all this. Last week Cam Smith's caddie got $400,00 + $35,000 for his work. The caddie for the guy who came in last got $12,000. Do you think these caddies are happier? Cam's caddie sure looked happier up there on the podium with Cam.

If the merger doesn't happen then I think more of the top players will JUMP at the chance to join LIV.

  6. People are sooooo DUMB…. there are no LIV golfers other than those crap golfers that nobody even knows in general…… other guys been PGA players for yeeeeeeeers or decades …. you really think cause they're not on that tour anymore that they can't play like PGA tour player anymore ……. arrrrgghhhh …. unreal talk!!

  7. You haven´t said it, but I think is important to understand how the professionals grow as players and make it to the top. In the PGA as you well said it is very tough to start. It is extremely competitive and very few make it to the top. I think is unfair that LIV takes advantage of that stage to "invite" the best players (the ones that have proven themselves). If LIV had a system where they would grow the game I wouldn't criticize them. But they are like bloodsuckers, taking advantage of other institutions to select their players…

  8. Def NOT excited. Tainted and curated field, leaving out some who are deserving, while letting in others who are not, all due to fixed (and irrelevant) OWGR. 👎👎

  9. Omg yes! How is that even a question at this point. There’s no pressure on cam. Everyone on LIv made the right choice if anything by default. Defending is always tough but this guys putting alone means more big wins in the future. Throw in his shirt game and even more big wins. It’s good to be Cam !

LIv golfers competitiveness is not in question anymore either. You know that.

It’s arguable if the masters was 5 rounds brooks or someone else would have beat Rahm.

Of course EVERYTHING Stenson says is correct, except that these are all good things for ‘older’ players only. Young pros suffer for this overworking the players maybe even more as they are unprepared to be away from home cooking 11 months of the year.

Westy and poults should be there. But no Sergio at the Open is what kinda makes the hair in the back of my neck stand up.

That ‘battle’ is dead dude. The LIv boys won the smart move battle. The rest of it is just individual golf.

    Enjoy the Open everyone !

  10. Of course it's for the money with Stenson, especially since he lost millions to Madoff. As for 3months off as a dual tour player he is only required to play 4 in DP and 15 on PGA so 19 weeks potentially a 6month season.

  11. I don’t buy the argument that LIV golfers are able to play less or have shorter schedules. Top 125 PGA tour players can already take the last 3 months off or they can choose to play if they want. Plus, before the PIP and designated events (which are a huge mistake and failure by the PGA Tour IMHO), they only needed to play 15 events per season and 4 of those could be majors, which the top LIV players play as well. LIV players starting in 2024 will have 14 events and they don’t get to choose which they play. So the top LIV players are playing a fixed schedule of 18 events while in the past top PGA Tour players could play whatever schedule the wanted as long as they played at least 15 events. Now, with the PIP, top PGA Tour players have to play 20 events and only 7 of which they can choose. The PGA Tour’s response to players leaving because they claim they wanted to be able to play less has been to make the players who stayed play more.

  12. Every pro golfer has a reason, all my working life i have followed the money their no different ( pro golfers ) i wish the shit stirrers would just shut up ,get on with life, namely the P.G.A , the name of the game is UNITED not DEVIDED. Wish the pro golfers the best of luck at the Open.

  13. Cam's decision was absolutely spot on – a whopping 1000% correct! However, what you may not realize just yet is Scottie to emerge victorious this year. While it may seem like LIV won't be taking home the prize based on previous statements, mark my words – they'll still be a force to be reckoned with, securing a solid spot in the top two, three, four, or five.

  14. Don't really care all they think is money when the world is what is like with people going to food banks to get food and mortgage rates going up every one is struggling and all you hear is all the top sports people across the board moaning there career is shirt i would like ro earn what some of make in one year i could retire

  15. I totally agree with Henrik. As a former road warrior for 11 months out of the year you want more time off. It looks glamorous but gets very old and you miss you family. In addition you get money up front and can provide more for you family. How many people leave their current job for more money or benefits? Stop complaining about these guys that went to LIV.

  16. For the guys who struggle against the cut line weekly I understand the pressure and pain. For the Elite top 50 guys………… You have NOTHING to complain about. ❤️✌️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

  17. Certainly won't be surprised if a LIV player wins Smithy of course and any of the LIV major winners, but how cool would it be to see a Blandy miracle. Tough though stacked field from all tours
