“THIS IS MY CLUB – AND I LOVE IT!” | Seamus Coleman new contract interview

Seamus Coleman signed a one-year contract extension last week to take his time with the Blues into a 15th full season. In an exclusive interview, the Everton and Republic of Ireland caption says there is cause for optimism, with momentum since Sean Dyche’s arrival in the Blues’ dugout in late January on an upward trajectory heading into the first pre-season under his stewardship.

And, reflecting on putting pen to paper for a further 12 months, Coleman says his hunger to help “my club” is as strong as ever.

  1. I can’t believe there’s people on social media saying Seamus is finished and that he isn’t good enough to play for Everton, utter bollocks this lad gives his all on the pitch, and goes out of his way for fans, he has the up most respect from fellow players not just Everton, he never tries to sugar coat a performance he says it as it is, hopefully this season he can stay injury free. UTFT.

  2. He is Mr Everton no ifs or buts .. I hope he’s reading all these comments .. remember him giving my lad a few mins talk about football .. he’s a hero to us all .. never change Seamus Coleman .. 60 GRAND 💙

  3. I'd absolutely love to win something with this lad in charge. Seamus your pure class. COYB 💙

  4. This stinks of financial fair play, great player over the years but this will cost us. I would of been happy to see him in the coaching staff, so no signings and relegation this year I`m sad to think .

  5. Seamus just needs 3 more appearances to overtake Tim Howard for the most appearances for Everton in the premier league, glad hes stayed on and hope Patterson really kicks on and stays injury free

  6. What an evertonian this guy is. He is a model professional, glad he is our captain for another season. Coyb

  7. Well in seamus we love you you have been there for ages my sister got I picture with you when she was a kid and when she was 14 she adored you COYB 💙

  8. I love seamus so much. When he got injured, his attitude when he was stretchered off the pitch was incredible. What a legend

  9. Humility is a very precious quality. Thank you Seamus. You embody the best of Everton and deserved far more in terms of trophies and real success. If only the other players throughout your time could live up to your standards. You truly deserve something tangible this season, League Cup Champions 2024. The only domestic Pot we've yet to snare. Would be a fitting victory to have in your honour Capt. The League is what you deserve, but we have to be within the realms of realism don't we. The League Cup is a massive challenge as well. If romance is not dead, it can be. Fingers Crossed. Good luck Seamus, and thanks for everything.

  10. Aside from the important goals he’s scored over the years my favourite Seamus Coleman memory was the lung busting run he made against Leicester in the 90th minute in his first game back less than 10 months after his leg break injury, I swear you would not see many players show as much heart and fight for a jersey as Seamus Coleman, an Everton legend.

  11. I've always thought he class a few bad injuries then a bad team to support him as he aged . Under a moyes team or just a good team always cater for lack of something as a player age but his fellow team mates struggled looking after themselves than putting an extra % more to cover Coleman. Dyche at least plays as a team

  12. SCOUT 🔥

SPORTING LISBOA (PORTUGAL) – JESUS ALCANTAR 🔥🔥🔥👌👌👌👍👍👍💪💪💪💯💯💯

  13. Does he has a speaking problem? I noticed that Seamus sometimes promunces the "s" in a very weird way, is that true?

  14. A true warrior…….. full of heart………….. great that he is still onboard
